Coming-of-age stories are one of my absolute favorite genres of movies/TV shows to watch. So I thought I'd compile a rough list of movies and shows in this genre that I can remember off the top that I have watched and love. I am looking for recommendations in this genre. So tell me if you like this genre and what movies and shows in this genre you personally like.
Call Me By Your Name Love Simon Lady Bird The Perks of Being a Wallflower The Way He Looks (Brazilian movie) Being 17 (French movie) Summer Storm (German movie) Y Tu Mama Tambien (Mexican movie) Moonlight Booksmart Young Royals (Swedish show) Love Victor - I haven't watched this yet, but it is on my list.
I can search for it, but do you have a link handy you could share of the photoshoot?
Haha. I have checked Immortality off too for now. I don't expect it to air until sometime next year. I do love coming here though to chit chat with some of the finest people I've had the pleasure to chit chat with. They're fun, non-judgemental, smart, diverse and they love to clown.
That is so interesting about the 3rd bullet to ban "effeminate men". I just saw an article today about how male…
Oh yeah that is the case everywhere. When women dress in a way that is unacceptable to the men then the justification for sexual assault is "Well look at the way she dresses. She was asking for it".

I wish some of these celebrities were vocal about support to the LGBT community. That would go such a long way towards acceptance in China. On a unrelated side note. I also wonder how this trend squares with what RedLotusPavilion was mentioning in one of her earlier posts about a ban on "effeminate men".
I am currently studying the Bachelors of Policing hoping to complete my studies next year and then take some time…
That is so awesome. I just finished watching "Heartbreak High" on Netflix a few weeks ago. I love that show and they showed Sydney in that show. It is a show from the 90s. I hear Netflix is going to reboot the show for release in 2022. I'm so excited!

That is so impressive. I did not even know there was a degree in Policing. You do mean Policing as in cops and law enforcement correct? And not Policy, correct?
