When you "were" a kid? I think you still are a kid, kiddo! LOL. Kidding.

So from what I understand there are a few reasons for this ship.
1. People just love the idea of the villain and the hero together fantasies. Opposites attract. Enemies turned to lovers. It is a real turn on for some I guess.

2. Harry and Tom are similar. The books have stated that Tom and Harry are similar in many ways. Physically, they both have jet-black hair and Tom himself said ‘we even look alike’ or something in Chamber of Secrets. They, to a certain extent, have similar backgrounds. They both knew the pain of orphanhood and knew how it felt to be neglected by the orphanage and the Dursleys respectively. They are both half-blood, although Harry should have more magical blood than Tom. So, maybe these similarities lead people to ship them?

3. They connect through the diary. They had a nice conversation through the diary. Maybe people think that’s a sign of potential relationship?

Yes, ma'am. ToMarry is the ship name for Tom Riddle and Harry Potter. I know. Unbelievable isn't it?!

I did not think there was drastic physical difference between the two. Granted LYX is very skinny (Sometimes I think he is way too skinny almost sickly skinny) but its not like CFY is a bulked up muscle hunk. I'd categorize CFY as a twink. LOL.
