It's on Netflix in a bunch of countries: https://unogs.com/title/81205849Can watch with VPN ^_^
Just so you know, using a VPN to access Netflix shows in other countries/territories is very much against Netflix's Terms and Conditions and Netflix reserves the right to terminate accounts found to be doing this. Please make sure you also provide this disclaimer to whoever you are advising to use VPN for accessing Netflix in other region so that they know what risk they are taking and what trouble they could get into.
It's right about now that I would love to have the ability to read the futureJokes aside, I am reading the novel…
Due to censorship and all that, do you think Immortality could do justice to the novel? Or do you expect the drama to be a highly watered down version of the novel?
My only wish is that the final product is worth it. If they end up censoring everything... *sigh*
What do you think. It is after all a C-drama. Censorship is the hallmark and cornerstone of C-dramas, especially stories that deal with topics like reincarnation and same sex romance. It is going to be littered with censorship.
There is another one ... The Story of the Bat. Which is also a "BL" costume drama.
So I think it is really important to separate the original novel from the adaptation. Most YouTube videos and web sites that I have seen and read refer to the novel as a BL novel. You are actually the first person I know who is saying that the original novel is NOT BL. So in that sense it is interesting. But I agree the drama adaptation is probably not BL. Due to censorship restrictions, I personally do not consider any C-drama to be BL. I've never looked at The Untamed or Word Of Honor as BL dramas although their original novels are most definitely BL. But that is just my personal opinion.
Apparently Chen Feiyu just recently renounced his US citizenship and has become a Chinese citizen. Interesting.
