Agree. Many men and boys are sexually assaulted around the world in many cultures, especially in southeast Asia. Many boys are volunteered or sold into prostitution and slavery. Jorn behaved like a sadistic sexual predator. With the smirk he had on his face during the meeting with the gang seems to indicate him being a person with NO conscience, a psychopath. If the writers took that and built into a story plot, IMO, it might make for an interesting Season 2. It would not only realistic and gritty. It would be pretty damn interesting.

Exactly! Yes, I've seen Hannibal and had the same thoughts. I suppose you're referencing the tv series Interview with a Vampire. I luv'd it!!! Season 2 was ok. Although I wanted Lestat to appear in the series earlier than he did. I can't wait for season 3.

Chain using his rape to benefit getting with Nu is sick enough. But he was the victim of a vicious kidnapping, assault and rape. I'm surprised he's not more traumatized or at least pissed off and wanting revenge on Jorn. Just about all the guys in this BL are just a bunch of P.O.S.'s, including Sun, who's trying to cover it up (at least the parts he knows).

ABSOLUTELY AGREE! And myself and many others had strong opinions about whether it was Stockholm syndrome (in KinnPorsche). I recall receiving many negative comments, but I stood my ground. I can't recall if it was is the novel as Stockholm. But the series certainly portrayed it that way.

I'm actually liking this series with Krist and Singto. It's great to see how they've progressed from the uni series to a full fledged adult BL (or I guess ML "mens love" LOL) with adult issues.

The issue of "romanticized" sex vs sexual assault yet again rears its ugly head. Granted, many cultures view r*pe differently (and that is certainly unfortunate, especially for the victims). But it is hoped that all of the posters here on MDL recognize that "whenever" someone is unable, unwilling, or incapable of giving "appropriate" consent, ANY sexual contact going forward is non-consensual and therefore "rape." Now, I guess one could debate what is meant by "unable, unwilling, incapable or even appropriate." Regardless of the wording, regardless of the terminology, and even regardless of the various cultural meanings, most will agree that it is r*pe and that should be NOTHING romantic about being r*ped, even in a tv series.

Actually, Pete tried to play along so that Vegas would get tired of him and finally end his life, but Vegas liked him even more and didn't wanna let him go. There was much discussion as to whether this was "actually" rape, and YES it was, even though it wasn't "forcible" from a physical standpoint. But it certainly was from an emotional/psychological standpoint. It is similar to allowing yourself to be raped instead of something else happening to you. Many disagreed though

As if this series can't get any messier! Even though it is a fictionalized drama, there's still some pretty messed up sh*t going on here! Obviously, it's done for entertainment. Obviously, it's nothing more than a tv show. But man! The writers of this sh*t must really have some f*cked up ideas of lgbtq+ relationships and how people are supposed to treat one another. Wow!

Although I was willing to give this series a 2nd chance after the first scene of Sun taking advantage of Nu while he was drunk (viciously scr*wing him), the kidnapping, drugging and raping scene between Jorn and Chain is a bit much! Not that I mind because its a drama. But this series crosses the line many times on who's a good guy and who's a piece of crap! They all seem to be pieces of crap with the winners being Sun and Jorn. Both the scenes with Sun/Nu and Jorn/Chain seems right out of KinnPorsche! LMFAO!

Everyone under the sun should've guessed what would go down between Babe and Willy. This plot is becoming more predictable and less entertaining, IMO.

As you may know, most BLs (at least in the Thai industry) are written by mostly straight females. I would presume that they draw their knowledge of sexual interactions between gay men and gay women from either their lgbtq+ friends or worse yet, from their "own" experiences, which is cringy to say the least, IDK. However, I've often commented (and was occasionally berated) that far too many of the relationships in BLs (and especially the sex) were patterned after straight relationships and sexual activities, with NO accounting for any differences, variances in the community, or anything else. But this is just one person's opinion.

Other than the sex scenes between Sorn and Jun, the story (plot) is not moving anywhere. I'm starting to get bored with this relationship, other than the sex.

Even though I kind of predicted the ending, I'm still not sure about this final ep. I can't place my finger on it, but something in the plot (story) was either missing or seemed out of place, IDK.
