I just rewatched ep. 10, and though I watched it earlier and knew what was coming, it STILL brought me to tears! OMG! This is such a good series! F*ck the 8.7 rating given by MDL. This series is at least a 9!
Agree or not. This is one of best "dramas" in BL history, IMO. It's well acted, well directed, no overt tropes or stereotypes, and it delves into to real emotions. The quality of the series seems to get better and better. It's as if we, the viewing audience, get to see the struggles these characters are going through and how the love and care for one another (be it their mom, brother, boyfriend, or pregnant ex-girlfriend) can help them through those struggles.
I just hope that after 10 eps. the rug is not pulled out from under us in the last two eps. This story deserves a "good" outcome. But, unfortunately, even good stories sometimes have sad and tragic endings. Just not let it be this series!!!!!
I believe the only reason many watch this series is for the seemingly never-ending screwing that takes place. And WoW! There's alot of screwing going on! But I guess to each his or her own. LMFAO!
Wow! A series that's named "Only Friends" and there are actually very few characters in the series that are "Only Friends." This series is a mish-mash trainwreck of a story. They're friends who "screw with," "screw over" and just plain "screw" each other for a host of reasons, to which few are what "true" friends should do. But, you know! We all probably know or possibly even have friends who are just as f*cked up as these "friends" are, and I use the term "friends" losely. IMO, I think that's one potent reason this series resonated who so many who posted positive comments. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was good for what it was, "a f*cked up view of friendships that probably mirrors real life than we will admit," as messy as real life and friendships are, especially these days.
I have been parroting it for a while that the proceedings are so deliriously unreal that the whole story seems…
Wow! You have some very valid, well thought out points on all of your scenarios. I agree with most of them, especially your points that "what it seems orm not exactly the way we see. The only thing about this ep. I have a problem is "Vit being the attacker." Although this series has shown Vit to be a manipulative hustler, who'll screw whoever he can con. But, there's been nothing, so far, to indicate that he's a murderer as well. Why kill Thanwa? That makes NO sense to me. All Tao is to Vit is a good lay, nothing to kill over???????
This is why I soooo agree with you that either "nothing is as it seems" or the last two eps. will reveal hidden bits of plot that the audience hasn't figured out yet.

Interesting synopsis! I kinda sorta have a similar feeling. As you stated, going from type of behavior to a completely different type of behavior so quickly seems somewhat ridiculous and hardly believeable. However, love and lust sometimes makes one do things they wouldn't ever have done before.
There's only been a few series, movies or shows that have ever made want to shed a tear and this series is one of them! I don't think I can make through til the end. OMG! This series is good!
I have to agree with many of the posters. This series is as about as good as it gets. It's heartwarming, emotional, not filled silly tropes and stereotypes, and extremely well acted by the mains. This series finally took BL to a level that was needed and IMO, necessary for the genre to grow. This series rivals, and in some ways surpasses other great series such as KinPorsche, Thousand Nights, Bad Buddy, even My School President. Yes, all those series were great. But IMO, The Last Twilight is better!
Has anyone seen the cut and uncut versions? What does the uncut version contain that the cut does not? I'm not sure which I've seen. You can reply in "Hide Spoiler mode." Thanks.
Joss never said he wouldn't do bl. Where did you get that from?
Ah, there we have it! Someone wanting to engage in an intellectual sparring match for reasons we know not. Well sir, the mic is yours, for my dance card is filled.

First of all, no one is spreading misinformation. That's presumptuos of you to state. Also, I have no problem whatsoever of stating or acknowledging I may have been in error in my comment. Can the same be said of you?
