On I Cannot Reach You Apr 26, 2024
This was a very good series. However, IMO, it would've been soooo much better if they had left out some of the overused cliches' stereotypes and tropes. Some of it may be cultural. But it's still outdated and backword thinking.
On A Boss and a Babe Apr 21, 2024
Yes, DO believe the bad reviews. ABAAB is the typical stereotypical trope-filled BL that's mainly light hearted, with a hint of mystery and pinch of silliness. However, if you're a Book and Force fan, this will be an enjoyable albiet silly watch. Book's comic timing actually was pretty good. It was just a bad script. And, though Force is definitely good "eye-candy," it couldn't make for the bad script and his dull character. But, still it's not a bad series, it's not a good series, but it is an ok series, which I guess will be ok for most fans.

I guess this series is completely up to the viewer (as I would guess for every BL for that matter). But, IMO, many of the other posters were right. This series did kind of dragged-on. This series did have bad writing and a bad sense of utilizing the flashbacks. This series did have decent "eye-candy" in the mains. This series was short. This series did have its cutsey moments. This series did play up a lot tropes and stereotypes that unfortunately are still all too common in Thai BLs. This series did have those viewers who thought it was really good, those viewers who thought was just okay, and those viewers who thought it was crap. I'm in the "just okay" group by the way. LOL But mostly, this series was decent enough to sustain our attention for a brief period this year. Because, in all honesty, 2024's BLs have been missing something that the last couple of years of BLs had -- but I really don't know what that is, To me it seems that in the last year or so, BLs have been nothing more than "cookie cutter" images of their former selves (with rehashed, overused stories and plots, tropes and stereotypes coming out of our ears, and bad acting, even with eye-candy actors). If I didn't know any better, I'd say the quality of BLs during the past year or so has stagnated. Disagree if you like, hate on me if you like, but that doesn't mean I'm not correct! LMFAO!!!

Intersting.

Title Two Worlds
Agreed! There's way too much going on in this series that it's difficult to make "any" sense of it.
Again, agreed!

What in the name of god is this hot mess of a plot?

Title We Are
I know it's just a series adapted from a novel (and so far, it's actually ok). But, really! If you're going to rehash an overused plot or trope, at least give it a little something different to make it interesting.

Title Only Boo!
It's corny, cliche, dorky, predictable, sometimes even cringe....But all in the good way!!! Loving this series…
Agreed!

This was an ok series. It did seem to drag in the beginning, but it picked up the pace in the end. To me, if the series hadn't played on so many tropes and stereotypes, it may have been even better. The main characters had chemistry, but the story just didn't flow well enough. Maybe if the producers had lengthen the number of eps and told a better coordinated story, it may have gotten better ratings, at least it would've from me. But, it's at least a solid 7, maybe a 7.5.

Title Deep Night
Isn’t filing a false police report a crime? How can that relative get away with filing so many false reports…
Unfortunately, police corruption is a signficant problem in Thailand. So making a false report or even paying off police is not that uncommon in that country. So, it kind of fits the storyline.

This ep. was probably the best of the series, IMO. I just wished they hadn't gone down the "trope lane" to tell the back story (and it didn't need to take 7 out of 8 eps. to do it either). But, it got folks to watching it, so I guess it worked!

Well finally we get the full story behind their relationship. it only took 7 eps. lol.
We still didn't get to see how they became such good friends. It was never told in any of the eps.

Yes.

Interesting! One possible answer to your last question could be this: "BL has become a $$$ making industry." AND,…
AGREED!!!!!

Although I kind of liked ep. 6, it introduced story issues not previously brought up in the series. I'm sorry. But, to bring "new" stuff near the end of the series is either a setup for a season 2 or lazy writing. It'll be intertesting to see which is which.

With only two chapters left to conclude 'To Be Continued', we still don't know why Ji has rejected Achi for more…
Interesting! One possible answer to your last question could be this: "BL has become a $$$ making industry." AND, as an industry, the fanservice, fan meets, merch sales, concerts, and commercials may take precedent over the desire for societal change. I'm just saying!

Nope, you didn't miss anything, that part was not there. There was the moment Achi asked for Ji's number, but…
Okay, thanks!

I'm curious! Did I miss something? Did they show in any of the flashbacks how Ji and Achi became friends? We see them meet up at Ji's meat shop and nothing on HOW they came to know each other. Does anyone know?

I know everyone's hating on this at the moment, which I find amusing. "It's slow!" Sorry they didn't have sex…
I agree mostly with you. However, well, the story is kind of slow. But, I'm ok with it. However, IMO, I think that if you're going to use flashbacks to tell part of the story, then probably more thought should be given to how those flashbacks are "sequenced." To me, the flashbacks didn't always seem to fit or explain the story in the present timeline, and there appeared to be gaps in the flashbacks until later episodes. Maybe this was done for some kind of dramatic or plot effect OR it could've just been "lazy writing." Who know??? But, I am interested in how it turns out.

Title The Sign
The Sign is good...I would even say it deserves its rating...but yeah...I get what you are saying...I just caught…
Absolutely agree!
