I like this series too. I just think dragging the couples (Peen/Phum) and (Q/Toey) out to 10+ episodes was probably a little too much. If MDL is right and this series is 16 eps, I think the series is purposefully is delaying moving the relationships forward to squeeze out 6 more eps.

I agree. Yeah, this series is pretty "unbelievable." I think this series is kind of a "parody," because nothing makes logical sense. Therefore, I say just enjoy it and not worry about it making any sense.
This series is getting better each ep. I just hope they spend the next 7 eps. going back and forth with the tired old jealousy trope between Wandee jealous of Yak/Taem and Yak jealous of Wandee/Ter. That'll get old and boring really quick.
I'm sorry. But I'm dropping this series. It's wayyyy too disfunctional, even for a Thai BL. To redeem Ming after all he has done and is doing to Joe (and Joe allowing it) is truly a toxic relationship. I'd also be curious to see what's in the novel, because the series is a mess!
When I watched this series before, I really didn't like all the over-the-top tropes, stereotypes, and bullying, all for the sake of the "enemies to lovers" trope story line. I just rewatched two years later in hopes that my opinion on this series had improved (over time). Well, unfortunately, it did not. I disliked the series as much this time as I did previously. I'm not hating on anyone or shaming anyone. But, this series is just NOT good. Yeah, it is funny at times. But, that hilarity is always at the expense of the lgbtq+ character Thi. Hmm! Why is that??? He's portrayed not only as clumsy, inept, scared of his own shadow, but totally weak-willed. I guess that's how the writer of this novel or manga sees lgbtq+ young men who are in college trying to earn a little money by tutoring juvenile delinquents! LOL!!

This series had cliche' written all over it from the start of episode one and made a joke out of it through most of the series. I actually thought it would improve as the series progressed, but it didn't! Why was I not surprised!!?? I'm so glad that this series DID NOT have a season 2. That would've been tragic. But, then again, What the Duck the Series (which was equally as awful as this, IMO) had a season 2. So I guess I Will Knock You can also have a season 2. Yeah, good luck with that! LMFAO!!!!
I think Ming is a disgusting POS, too. And, at present, there's nothing in the plot to give any kind of redemption, except for that last scene with Joe. We all know the drill. Ming will be forgiven, Joe will get back with him and all will be well with the world! That's such BS it makes my bald head grow peach fuzz. Interesting synopsis! I like how you incorporated "all" the various relationships amongst these friends. However, like most posters, I think that the series could pick up the pace just slightly, especially between Phum and Peem. If MDL is right and there's 16 eps., there's still alot of eps. left to cover. Hmmm?
This is why I now avoid reading the book before watching the bl series. I keep having hope that the producers and writers might "correct" some of the wrongs done in the book. Yeah!
