I saw the uncut version and remember that. But, I still missed the parts where Jom unraveled all of this so quickly. And, how did know to go to James? Why didn't James come forward with this info before? Maybe I'm making too much of this. But Jom unraveled all of those secret plots like he was "Columbo" or "Miss Jessica Fletcher" (Google them if you're not familiar). LMBO!
There's no doubt that this was another great ep. However, there are a couple of plot issues that need to be hashed out.
1) Did I miss something? The plot that Jom unraveled. Where did this come from and how did it fit in with Yai's engagement? How did Jom know how to catch Robert and the uncle? Was I asleep in a previous ep? And
2) Why are we now being given the "fading images" of Jom and not a better explanation as to why he's a hundred years in the past with this family and this house?
If anyone has read the novel, please enlighten us. I know the romance factor and the chemistry with the mains is great, However, as romantic as the scenes with Yai and Jom are, it seems as if the rest of the story is starting to "fade" like the plot (such as it is).
Finally, with only (2) eps left, will we get some kind of explanation or resolution? My suspicion is that this has been an entire "dream sequence" of Jom as a result of crashing in the river or some BS plot twist like that. But, if it is, it's all good. It's been done before and it'll be done again.

Agreed once again! For me, when I originally saw this series, I didn't realize, until I had watched it again, that the reincarnations of Korn/Intouch and Dean/Pharm were the "opposites," Korn > Dean and Intouch > Pharm. At first, I just thought it was the dominant-to-dominant and the subordinate-to-subordinate character theme brought forward, which I was ok with. Then, when I realized that Dean and Pharm reincarnations were from the opposite family, it blew my mind! Dean being Intouch's great-nephew and Pharm being Korn's great-nephew was an outstanding plot, IMO.
I have to agree with many of the posters. This series is starting to drag just a little when it has just gained a little momentum. IMO, I think this kind of BL series would've been better with longer running times and fewer eps (8 eps at 50 min. each). That way more focus could be placed on making the plot/story have a better flow.
Watched tons of thai BL, and now I am kinda tired of it, 'Bad Buddy' is the last one on my list... Any good kiss…
Bad Buddy actually isn't as good as the ratings suggest. Yes, there are a few good kissing scenes, alot of uni hijinx etc. The really good thing is that Nanon and Ohm had really good chemistry, which helped the flow of the series (even though publicly they now do not seem to get along and do not wish to do any more BLs). And, the series itself had so many flaws it was unreal (but not much different from other BLs that focused on uni students and their antics). It is cute and has a somewhat nice ending and worth a watch, if you're still into to BLs. But, it's NO masterpiece by any means. Just a cute BL with two characters with good chemistry that carry the series. BTW, this is just one person's op-ed. I'm sure that there are MANY out there who would disagree. View a few eps and decide for yourself if it's worth it.
I'm not really sure why this HIStory missed the mark. I'm smh! They HIStory even had the nerve to have the couple from HIStory4:Close to You that was so controversial as cameos! YUCK! That part notwithstanding, time travel series always seem to have problems. The writers never seem to be able to make reasonable plots from the story, and it leaves us as an audience trying to figure how the series will end.
I think the main problem with series, IMO, was that the characters were uninteresting, the plot was salient, and the producers veered so far from what made most of the HIStory series so interesting. It's like they're taking a page out of the Thai and Phillipine BL playbook, "just crank out as many BLs as you can to see what sticks!"
