Then do not dare watch the next epidode and save your time.
Now, now. I think "hate" is just a little strong. LOL! I totally agree with your position that we should agree with like different things. I think you're absolutely right on that point. And, I definitely agree that "is the beauty of life." I just think some folks (including myself) have issues when certain behavior "crosses that line," even in a BL drama (again, Mame is notorious for this). But, to each his own. LOL!

"The epitome of a dominant predator stalker," hmmm! I can agree with that! LOL! I'm just not so sure that's a good thing! LMFAO!

Although I totally agree with you, @JollyGolly does have the right to her opinion and perception of this series.

Interesting! I'm not sure. She's on the set in the Behind the Scenes clips, though.

Interesting synopsis, and likely true! However, as I've stated, it's hard to compete with the fact that Rain "said" no and stop. Mame once again took us all down that road again. LOL

You might be missing the Dom stuff Phayu is throwing at Rain. I wrote about this earlier. Also, Mame is muddling…
Wow! Now, these are interesting points! Mame muddying the Dom/Sub waters is a pretty insightful analogy. However, it would still have a hard time going up against Rain clearly and emphatically saying "stop" and "no."

Jack, it's ok to disagree. No prob there. No to doubt your "analysis," but we're going to have to agree to disagree on both the scene and Texas! LMFAO! I'm from Cally and we think we're the best country in the world! HA! HA! HA! See what I just did there.

Agreed. But, in this scene, Rain clearly, vocally and emphatically said "stop," and "no." That seemed pretty clear to me. It didn't to you?

Even if your synopsis of that scene is correct, unfortunately, it wasn't reflected in either Phayu's dialog or his actions.

The aching behind is a valid point. On that I would agree. However, after being told "no" and "stop" several times and yet still having someone place something in your anus "without your consent" would be assault in the West. On that we will have to agree to disagree.

Agreed.

I'm just smh! Obviously, I'm missing something. Here's my dilemma. Your "boyfriend" shows up at your house, berates you for leaving his house, "assaults" you with a suppository, and embarrasses you in front of your parents. Now, even if we chose to disagree as to whether the "suppository" scene was rape or sexual assault (and it would be in the West), at a very minimum could we agree that what occurred was "extremely humiliating and degrading", especially when done by someone who just told you "he likes you." IMO, in a few eps, Phayu went from "cool" to "creep."

I agree. In two episodes, Phayu's character went from "cool" to "creep."

Agreed. However, I have a gay Thai friend (whom I often consult with on these matters) and he told me that in his experience, "it's exactly like it sounds," with the "wifey" performing those roles associated with a "female wife" in Thai society. The "wife" in Thai society is often subservient to the husband, must follow his commands, and be sexually subservient to him as well. But, he said that is steadily changing. He also said that many Thais often associate the "wifey role" with that of "femboys and ladyboys," which he says are very common in certain areas of Thailand (especially Bangkok). He stated that most of the lgbtq+ men that he knew were "versatile." Granted this only one gay Thai person's perception, and I give him the benefit of the doubt of knowing his culture better than I.

Ok. I'll say it straight out. This ep, IMO, would've been soooo much better if they'd left out two scenes: 1) the forced suppository scene (Rain said "no" and there it should've stopped); and 2) the hubby/wife thing (Geez). Now, this is classic Mame!
