AGREED! Thanks for the consideration. I've never been disheartened, upset, angry, or any other negative adjective lodged against me. I, like you believe ALL have a voice, and we can ALL agree, disagree, or agree to disagree, and it all cool. However, sometimes the negative aura is a little daunting, and I for one hate being brought down -- so, I chose to keep some of opinions to myself or those open enough to be open-minded... LOL

Good point! I totally agree that it's about cultural differences, respect and trust. I also agree that these qualities ARE looked upon differently by different cultures. But, less we not forget that this is a fantasy BL series, and I'm not as sure as you that the qualities you've identified were even considered.

Agreed. The top/bottom thing is "messed-up." But, it was kind of funny, in a stupid "What the Duck" kind of way. LMBO! Now, Rain giving Prapai Sky's number was REALLY messed-up. You give your best friend's number out to a stranger so he'll leave you alone to snuggle with your boyfriend.. Geez!
I've now rewatched all the eps, and I thought it might change my mind about this series. Unfortunately, it didn't. I neither liked it nor disliked it. It was so/so. It was at times entertaining. It was at times a little sad. It was at times a little silly. And, at times, it was just a little too much. But, it was still entertaining. It had all your classic tropes (and then some), but still at times entertaining. LMFAO! This series was NOT a 10 like many rated it. Nor was it a 1, like so many others rated it. It was more than likely a solid 5 or 6, and that's about it.
Everyone rates and evaluates these BLs based on their own likes/dislikes, fetishes/perversions, understandings/misunderstandings and criticisms/judgements. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. But, that doesn't mean that there's anything right with that either. It just is....
