I finally got the courage to watch part of the latest ep. That was enough for me. I'm soooo glad that I dropped this series early on. There's almost nothing entertaining about this. But, for those who do like it, "more power to you!" You're much braver than I to sit through this.

Wow! I read this entire string and nearly fell out of my chair laughing! LMFAO. Although I agree with you, unfortunately, IMO, Lexi does have a slight point, "if you been into Thai bls for a while, you should know what you're going to get." However, we can all still hope that bls continue to get better and rise above some of the "juvenile" stuff that originally made them very popular in Thailand. And as you've pointed out, as far as quality bls, I would definitely agree that the Japanese, South Koreans, and Taiwanese have really raised the bar. But, lest we not forget that (especially in Thailand), the bl genre has become a complete and total bl "industry," which heavily caters to particular fan bases and fanservice for the almighty $$$. I'm not quite sure that "quality" is given that much consideration in the decision to produce a Thai bl. I could be wrong!?

True. You're right. They did market that way. But, we do know a little of their back story. If, they want to tell a little more. Fine. What we don't know is what happened after they got together. You don't need to retell their story to make it interesting going forward. Again, I reference LBC to LBC2. Just an opinion.

Well, tbh, I'm not really sure about this series. It's only the first ep., and they've reworked UWMA to focus on the story of Win and Team. Unfortunately, however, just like LBC and LBC2, this production team seems to want to tell a "different" story of Win/Team than actually picking up with where Win/Team left off in UWMA. I hope it works out for them, because it DIDN'T for LBC and LBC2. It should be interesting!

Agreed! However, in the BL genre, especially in Thailand, actors such as Nouel (who's cute, "flamboyant," ditzy, and smaller in size) seem to only be type-cast in these roles, when obviously he could take on others. But, then again, if he has no problem possibly being type-cast, then that's cool also -- at least he will get plenty of acting work.

You're soooo right, unfortunately. This series just reeks of tropes and stereotypes. But, a lot of folks seem to love it. I'm just smh!!!!

Although I'm liking this series, two things keep me from liking it more: 1) Subs are a week to two weeks behind, and 2) The storyline is starting to drag significantly. The producers of this series is taking the "cliff hanger" routine to an unnecessary extreme. I presume their thought is if you have a cliff hanger at the end of every ep, it'll make folks want to see it more. Actually, that's just the opposite, it make folks frustrated and want to see it less.
