that's one of the reasons I disliked the show. That, and the domestic violence played off for laughs. Also, I'm just not fond of thriller subplots in romcoms in general 😭

Hmm idk I saw the video and the paparazzi really sounded as if they were mocking the members. Complaining about taking photos 'again' when you're literally getting paid for it is not it. And if I recall correctly, some of the photographers even started speaking Japanese with them. One of them said, " I think I'm getting Covid." Even if you say they weren't racist, they were definitely disrespectful and unprofessional.

I'm excited to see what role Jung Sungil will play. At first, I thought he was casted for Han Myungoh but apparently not

I personally imagined Kim Hyejun as Han Sooyoung while reading the novel, but I think Kim Sejeong will also be a good fit!

It was SO important to show Sol following her dreams of becoming a movie director because while the show had focused a lot on Seon-jae's career, Sol's sole purpose in life throughout the show had been to save Seon-jae. So it was about time that we got a glimpse of her pursuing her goals and ambitions.

I disagree. I don't think a cliched happy ending is out of place for this story. It's the least the characters deserve after going through multiple timelines being separated from each other.

Man ngl I would watch an entire spinoff of just Seon-jae's friendship with Taeseong, Inhyuk and the other Eclipse members.

Unless of course... they manage to sneak in a plot twist there somehow. (Please don't 😭)

This show never loses the romcom despite having a thriller subplot. It does lean a bit heavily into the thrill or melodrama sometimes, but only when its necessary to the plot. Overall, it manages to strike the perfect balance between all the genres.

I can tell before even watching the next episode that we're gonna have the BEST last episode in the history of romantic kdramas. Like wdym the leads don't only get together in the last five minutes and we get to see an entire episode of them being lovey-dovey?? Subeoms WE WON 🙌

I actually love watching ongoing dramas. The anticipation and the weekly discussion elevates the experience for me!

Watch till at least episode 4. There's an interesting twist there.

I don't think it's fair to classify every person who criticizes a show as a 'hater'. There's nothing wrong with discussing both the negative and positive aspects of a show. It is what makes the entire discussion fun and interesting.
