same writer as in six flying dragons & Song Joong Ki .... count me in! The only thing I'm hoping for now is for them to cast an amazing actress as the main female lead and not just some pretty face. fingers crossed.
I really liked Sooji's character (complex, confident & not the typical boring kdrama second lead girl) until I realized what novel this is based on and now I'm anxious they are gonna make her a total B. Unfortunately in the ep last week we saw the writers laying some groundworks for exactly that.
This is the first time ever me hoping for the writers to be not following the original.
On the other hand, if they do make her a total B. I hope they do pull of the original ending.
I guess I'm having very mixed feeling about this drama. But I still love it.
Even though my last comment was rather positiv this is what I have to say to those who haven't seen it and are debating with themselves whether they should give this a try:
- do NOT watch this if you hate love-triangles. You will absolutely hate it! -also do NOT if you expect a good fashion sense. It's bad, really bad and not because it's just outdated - I remember cringing about some fashion choices even back then..still do, now
I don't know what it is about this drama it's not bad but I fully agree with its rating;
the plot was intriguing and characters weren't one dimensional but they somehow were boring I didn't care about them that much. Also it's just such a very typical kdrama in every way that it just felt like I've already seen it.
Nevertheless, I would recommend this drama but only to those who are new to kdramaland (because they won't feel like they already know each and every character and its development); and to those who loves and misses old school kdramas because like I said the plot itself was not that bad.
I enjoyed ep.11 (21-22) a lot. The songs and performances were good and in general this was a good vibe episode; to see them being so supportive of their team members was heartwarming ❤
You are right it really does. I brushed it off thinking I was just being nostalgic for some reasons. So I'm glad knowing it reminds others of Inuyasha as well ^^
I absolutely loved Oh Yeon Seo in Please Come Back, Mister. At some point she was even the main reason I kept on watching it. So why do I have such a hard time with her in A Korean Odyssey?! But seriously, I've caught myself multiple time already (in only two episodes that I watched) thinking "they should've cast someone else for the main lead". And every time I was shocked about my own thought because I really liked her in the other drama. Does anybody feel me or is it just me?
Seriously the worst thing about this drama is that the subs are slow. the new ep is out for about two days and the amount of times I checkt whether the subs are out is not healthy anymore xD
EP 6 was dope (And so is probably gonna be 7 since it the second part of the JYP vs YG mission)
The JYP vs YG battle is a long tradition for those two to let their trainees battle each other in three segments : First, Free Style (they chose whatever they are good at). Second, is singing and the final one is dancing.
This tradition started back in 2001 with Se7en (YG) vs Rain (JYP) Then BigBang vs 2PM iKON & Winner vs Day6 & Got7 And now YG trainees vs StrayKids
So you know this battle is epic and history in making. YG's and StrayKids both were awesome. I'm looking forward to their debuts.
I am looking forward to see him as a main lead (hopefully soon). After seeing him in Go Back Couple I definitely have a thing for him ♥ But don't lie so does probably the majority of you guys visiting his page haha
I watched that drama a long time ago. probably only a year after it came out so I don't remember every detail. But what i do remember is that I really enjoyed watching it.
This drama has definitely it's charm. Therefore, the negative comment section is a little surprising to me. The ending is not everyones cup but to me the realness just felt right. I quite enjoyed this drama.
The only thing I did't like was I remember being annoyed by her dad's constant screaming and always had to lower the volume ????

Some are still waiting for the last episode to be subbed
