why have his dramas past aos been mediocre or bad? Forgetting even that besides extraordinary you (i didnt watch it but ppl like it so i guess its good) and search: www (which i also didn’t watch but heard good things about), his dramas prior to aos have also been mid like do do sol sol la la sol. He’s a good actor but the scripts hes been getting aren’t good but i have hope his new upcoming drama with go min si will be good

The ML is not the father though…? he’s his uncle and he didn’t abandon him. He just doesn’t live with him but still visits him. Also what do u want him to do? Live with her while she goes on dates with the SML and take care of the baby? You want him to be a cuck or something? What kind of argument is this? This has nothing to do with misogny, the writing of the show is just bad

kdramas lately have been following a trend of starting off “good” with decent ratings and then slowly getting worse and worse with bad or mid endings, going from ratings like “8.4” to “7.9” or below. i have seen this happen so many times with new drama’s these days idk whats happening with the writing quality of kdrama’s. also in 2025 there was barely any good kdrama’s. even the ones that seemed “good” in the latter half of 2025 dropped in ratings afaik

I haven’t watched this drama although i wanted to but after watching clips of it on reels and reading comments about it, it seems like one of those drama’s that treats the second lead like the ml and sidelines the ml and then theres a confession in the final ep or somewhere around that and ml and fl get together and you realize you wasted ur time watching mid

I just finished the drama. Second half was dragged out, convoluted and a mess. Not that bad of a drama but not good either

What is this drama? The fl doesn’t need love she needs extensive therapy or a trip to the psychiatrist. The drama goes downhill from the second half, the first half of the drama is alright but im on episode 9 and struggling to finish it. This drama isn’t good and im surprised its getting so much praise with such a high rating on here. Pretty cinematography alongside other things can really mask how bad a drama is to people.

I don’t understand why the ml is so hung up on the 2nd fl because from whats been shown up until episode 3 he’s only met her briefly before seeing her again but this time she was his brothers gf. Why is he still hung up on her despite knowing she’s in a relationship with his brother? His personality seems to be calm, collected and smart, he doesn’t seem like the easy type and he even dismisses the fl’s feelings even though they have had interactions that could be more likely to potentially evoke romantic feelings in comparison to the brief interaction the ml had with the second fl, i don’t understand why he continues to have feelings for her

Just finished episode 1. So far the cinematography, scenery and ost’s are pretty good. the characters are also compelling and the chemistry is decent. this drama has potential but i got 11 more eps to go

another drama locked in disney jail wow…disney continues to be the worst streaming platform for kdramas and its not even close

This drama started off interesting but as the episodes went on it got worse and worse and the latter half was boring and repetitive.

The “bad guys win” ending doesn’t work with squid games season 3 because the entire point of this sequel was to prevent this sort of ending because we already got this conclusion with season 1. So this ending literally makes season 2 and 3 pointless.

The sub-plot regarding jun-ho literally led to nothing as well. Idek what the point of his character was. He spent 3 years searching for the island, only to finally find it and not even be able to hold a proper conversation with the front man. Even during the entire search, the sidekick to that one guy who died during russian roulette with the salesman, did more than jun-ho did in 3 years by catching captain park red handed.

They literally wrecked all of the character writing for most of the characters like player 333 to create stakes. At one point he’d seem like he has some morals, and at another point you’d wonder if he even has a shred of morals to his name. All for a cheap way to create stakes.

“Bad guys often win” is a concept thats been done in shows and movies quite often. This was just a very poor way to execute that idea. Just made it seem like season 2 and 3 were pointless.

Was the ending just a setup for the usa spinoff squid games?

A lot of moments in this season just felt like they were served to us as “oh look this happened”. They were all lackluster and anticlimactic. Just poorly executed and boring. The ideas were there but they weren’t implemented well.

Also why did they destroy player 333’s character? Why did they suddenly make him act like he has absolutely no morals? I was shocked to see he was willing to KILL his own baby to win the game? Like what????? And he literally left jun-hee to die after all that talk about protecting her. Even gi-hun did more and he isn’t even the baby’s father.
