Hi Guys Time skip is confusing me how long ML is in Jail 3 Yrs or 7Yrs ?? How many periods of time skip are there??…
They meet in university and get together at the end of freshman year. Then there’s a time jump of 3 years to their final year of university. They separate and Li Xun goes to prison. 3 years later he gets released. So I think in total it’s about 6-7 years after they’ve first met in college. But he’s in prison for only 3 years.
They were in a relationship for 3 yrs (about 4 til the breakup). I don't think they are officially living together,…
I was thinking the same, especially in the New Years scene where he carried her to the couch. They also just seemed so comfortable with each other that it’s hard to believe that they wouldn’t have slept together already. (Given how often he was basically lying almost on top of her while tickling her on the couch).
But on the other hand, I thought I saw a teaser from one of the later episodes (after prison) where they sleep together? Which made me think that that might be their first time having sex? But perhaps it’s just the first time after they got back together.
I've noticed it throughout the drama, but put it aside since he has had a hard life and was still young. LX's…
Same here. I do like them as a couple but I really wish that Li Xun would have to fight for her after coming out of prison. But instead, it looks like she’ll be the one running after him (based on ep 1 & 2), which is so disappointing. I understand that he had a difficult past, but it still irks me how he gave almost zero consideration to how she might be feeling. He decided that he needed to take revenge and that she was better off without him, made the decision that she should go abroad like her parents wanted, and then essentially created a scenario that would lead to the breakup. But given that Zhu Yun is so loyal and has promised that she’ll always follow him no matter what, she will surely just forgive him and he won’t even need to fight for her.
Lord O Lord........So much to vent about................I don't know, but for some reason I understand Li Xun…
I feel really bad for Zhu Yun. She’s clearly suffering from severe depression by the end of ep 22, and Li Xun didn’t really consider how she might feel. Not just with Xu Lina, but also about him going to prison. But I also understand that he was grieving and not thinking things through very clearly.
And I disagree about her parents. I think she tried really hard to fight them on this, but it’s hard for her because she was brought up always following her parents. This is her first time disagreeing with them but she tried so hard! And ultimately, Li Xun had always planned to make them upset during the dinner. He had already met with Xu Lina before and asked Zhu Yun for her shares. He had planned all of it, including the fallout with her parents.
What I find sad is that Zhu Yun‘s priority has always been Li Xun, but ultimately she wasn’t his priority. Revenge was more important, and I understand it somewhat after his sister died, but even after he got of prison 3 years later, he still cares more about revenge. But maybe by then he thinks that she has moved on and is better off without him.
Hqve to love the comments here, everyone wants them to be together as soon as possible and also want ZY to not…
Yeah, I really wish that Li Xun would have to fight for her, but based on episode 1, I think it’s more likely that Zhu Yun will be the one pursuing him.
I think Fang guy get 50% now. I don't think LX would own 50% of L&P after he gets out of prison.
Pretty sure he still owns the shares because back in ep 1, I remember Ren Di saying to Li Xun that L&P is going public soon and that he’ll be wealthy. And Gao wanted to buy him out.
exactly. he wanted to cut all connections with ZY that why he took back all the shares. As much as I hate Gao,…
Yes, I think it’s quite interesting as well that Gao did actually manage to make the company very successful, given that it was just a small start up when Li Xun went to prison. He abandoned the original vision, but he also made Li Xun a wealthy man. And yes, my guess is that Li Xun will keep ownership of 50% shares, and will eventually use that to take back the company.
honestly he cud hv left her the shares *sadface*-- even if he didnt break up with her... after attacking Fang…
Yeah, I am pretty angry that he just gave away all her shares. He could have put them in a trust for her or something. But he didn’t think at all about how all this would impact her.
The company is going public, and Li Xun still owns 50% of shares (despite not being involved in the running of the company). That’s why Gao wants to buy him out.
Can anyone tell me how did Gao Jian betrayed the male lead? Because at ep 22 it was seen that when ml hit the…
My understanding is that Li Xun gave Gao 50% of the company’s shares and asked him to run the company on his behalf while he’s in prison. (Expecting that they would still work together). But then once he’s in prison, Gao tells him that he is not going to report to him, and that he won’t involve him with any company decisions.
So did I understand this right that Li Xun gave Gao all of Zhu Yun‘s shares? Still can’t believe he did that and left nothing for Zhu Yun. And now Gao and Li Xun both own 50% of shares but Gao runs the company because Li Xun was in prison?
I still don't know what the purpose behind making these kind of reality shows?I hope ChaeRi is not the who gave…
Seriously, I think this was the third episode (if not more), where the main leads didn’t get more than 5 minutes of interactions. They really need to start focusing on their relationship. From the preview, it looks like it might finally move forward a bit in the next episode, but I also wouldn’t be surprise if the stuff that Ye Reum said at the end of the preview were just her thoughts and she doesn’t actually share them with Jae Hoon.
I started episode 1 last night it was so boring i almost fell asleep im gonna drop this one
I found episode 1 quite boring too, but it totally changes halfway through episode 2. From then on, the whole story is set in the past (college days) and the vibe is totally different. I would suggest you watch until the end of episode 2 or maybe ep 3, and if you still don’t like it, then drop it. But episode 1 is really different to the next 20 episodes, so not really a good indication of whether you’ll like it. But up to you of course!
Is this a stand-alone series or the second half of something? I felt confused by the first part of episode one,…
The first episode is a bit confusing because it starts in the present. Halfway through episode 2, it then switches to the college years (until episode 22). So you see them meeting each other and eventually falling in love. From episode 23, onwards it’s set in the present.
You could just start halfway through episode 2 when they first meet in college and then watch chronologically.
But on the other hand, I thought I saw a teaser from one of the later episodes (after prison) where they sleep together? Which made me think that that might be their first time having sex? But perhaps it’s just the first time after they got back together.
It’s hard to see how they’ll ever approve of him.
