There are quite a few kiss scenes in the trailer, which I’m a bit confused about if they only confess and start dating in episodes 18/19, and then break up in ep 21-22. (Which is what most people are predicting based on the schedule guide). So unless they kiss before the confession, the kisses might start from ep 18/19 and there should be quite a few of them in the following episodes?

I think this episode was pretty important to set the scene and introduce new characters. Fang Zhi Jin will be important for the plot, and I think Xu Li Na is also somewhat important because she is probably a big reason why Gao betrayed Li Xun later on. This episode is already making it pretty clear that Gao is getting more and more jealous of Li Xun. Also I wouldn’t be surprised if Xu Li Na ultimately helps to speed up the relationship between Zhu Yun and Li Xun because Zhu Yun will probably end up being jealous of her.

How can Zhu Yun and Li Xun join the competition if they didn’t participate in the preliminaries?

I agree that the way Li Xun treats Lao Gao (and everyone else really) is pretty awful. But I think Lao Gao was always going to end up being jealous of Li Xun. Gao was probably used to being the number one before meeting Li Xun, and wants to be the best. Even if Li Xun was a better friend, I think Gao would have always been jealous that Li Xun gets all the attention, including from the girl he likes. I am also not sure he was ever sincerely interested in being Li Xun‘s friend, or if he was just using Li Xun to become a better programmer.

Isn’t it possible that the blue dress actually indicated episode 14? It seems to be just below the 14, and ep 14 was when he gave her the dress. At least I would like to hope so, because I want them to get together earlier than ep 18/19 haha.

Where did you see the schedule guide? I am hoping they’ll get together a bit earlier than episodes 18-19. My guess is that the last few episodes (21-22, maybe even 20-22) will be quite angsty given the breakup, prison and Gao’s betrayal. So it would be nice if there were at least a few episodes of them being a happy couple.

I think they both already know that they like each other. She also knew that he was really jealous of the other guy. In some ways a confession seems a bit unnecessary with this couple because it’s so clear already that they like each other!

Did anyone else get the sense that he was trying to kiss her when he was about to give her the envelope, but she was too shy and nervous that she jumped away? And same thing when she tried on the dress? So cute those two!

I am starting to like the side characters more than the leads. My issue is that I really can’t stand the SFL, and so I end up fast-forwarding all the scenes with her and ML. Looks like in the next episode, he’s going to seriously try dating her so that’ll mean more fast-forwarding for me. I am not sure why I haven’t given up on this yet.

I thought that it was ML first? Or maybe both at a similar time? Hard to tell with those two!

I don’t think it’s her fault if he never wanted to talk about the details. I mean he was basically a recluse after the incident, and she was the person who was able to lift him up afterwards. And it’s quite possible that he didn’t want to talk about it, so she wouldn’t have pushed him against his will.

I really liked that too! And despite the fact that he had been giving her the cold shoulder, she still wanted to make him feel secure and make it really clear that he doesn’t have to be jealous! They’re such a good couple already, it doesn’t even matter that they haven’t made their relationship official.

I’m pretty sure she knows. She’s friends with the whole family including his sister, so surely she’d know about what happened to his dad.

From the preview, it looks like Yu Reum is yet again going to ask SFL for a “big favour”🤦‍♀️ which I am guessing will bring ML and SFL closer together, while making ML more angry with FL. I am honestly confused how and when they want to introduce romance between FL and ML, because we’re already at episodes 9/10 and so far there have been hardly any romantic scenes between the leads.

I’m not even sure if she’s a bad person but I find her whole whiny and needy attitude so annoying. She has known ML for only a few weeks and she’s behaving like she can’t live without him and he’s the love of her life.

It also annoyed me that she knew that ML has feelings for FL and wanted to pursue her, but after seeing them kiss, she immediately went to FL and asked her to draw a line or she’d leave the show. Pretty annoying especially given that she knew that the FL had a personal stake in her staying on the show given she’s a producer.

It’s hard to see how the main leads will end up together. ML doesn’t even want to speak to FL and they barely had 5 min of screen time together in this episode. Instead, it sounds like ML now wants to get to know SFL better, and I find their scenes so annoying together!

Ep 13 was so sweet! I don’t actually mind the slow-burn romance because it’s so obvious that they like each other and they know it too. I think they’re just both a bit nervous to go the next step.
