I like Inju and Inkyung the most. The Role they played was fully satisfied. Choi Doil character was well played…
I’ve only watched up to episode 6, and I really don’t like InHye. She’s so ungrateful, doesn’t seem to care about her sisters, doesn’t ever thank them for anything they do for her, and weirdly enough, she’d apparently rather live with a violent, murderous family than be with her sisters who do so much for her. She cares more about her new friend that she’s only known for a few months than her sisters. I was hoping there would be some character development later on, but sounds like there isn’t?
I‘ve only watched the first two episodes, but I seem to be the only one who finds the ML so boring. I keep fast-forwarding all scenes with him. Maybe I should just drop it, given that it’s pretty obvious that he will be endgame.
I sincerely hope that Min Woo does not get a redemption arc after all the things he’s done now. I am worried they‘ll try to redeem him and that he will end up with Choi Soo Yeon (the preview suggests he’s into her). She really deserves better than him!!
Just finished re-watching AMA, and am so excited for a modern drama with Xu Kai. I would love for his character to be a little bit like Gu Yanzhen, who might be my favourite ML in drama land. Hope this airs soon!
I agree! ML spotted SML as not good from the beginning and told FL so. Thanks for your comment, it is right on…
I thought it was ironic when SFL described her ex as being controlling, making her feel inadequate and belittling her. All behaviour that ML has also been guilty of in respect to NM.
it's 20 episodes now still ML have no idea about his feelings for FL.... I know it's not a typical rom-com but…
I agree. It’s a bit annoying how ML still doesn’t realise that he has feelings for NM. At this point, I wouldn’t even be surprised if it ends up being SFL who tells him that he has feelings for NM. I also feel like SFL has to actively leave him, before he would pursue NM (even if he did realise that he likes her). Maybe because he still feels grateful that SFL was there for him when he was lonely, but it’s a bit disappointing that it doesn’t seem like he’s willing to fight for NM.
Ep 17&18 were a bit slow for my liking. I am enjoying how NM is becoming independent and how she’s progressing her career. But, it’s disappointing how LJM seems to have almost forgotten about her and could barely find time to meet her or read her proposal. But meanwhile he called her in the middle of the night to ask how to make coffee. And generally, it’s a bit annoying to see how he is doing so much for SFL (including ordering her food, making noodles, making her coffee etc) when he only ever bosses FL around. But my guess is that he’ll turn up to the investment meeting and possibly get jealous when he sees NM with SML.

But I would hate for NM to feel like she’s just the second choice! It would be better if LJM chooses her and not just because his ex is back with her fiancé!

I am getting the sense that he genuinely thinks that he is still in love with his ex, when it’s so obvious to everyone else that he has moved on and almost seems obsessive about NM. But if she indeed returns in the next episode, I think it’ll first take a little while for him to figure out himself that he no longer likes her, and by the time he does, NM might have moved on already …
The ML might be the worst one I’ve ever seen in a drama. It’s so disgusting to watch how he constantly belittles young ambitious women (and not just the FL) and tries to kill their ambition. The only reason I am still watching is because I really like the FL and how driven and career-oriented she is. I also love her new boss - the difference between her new boss and LJM couldn’t be any starker, her new boss nurtures and supports her employees, she builds them up so they can be at their best. And this is reflected in the work environment - at her new workplace, everyone is supportive and collaborative. At LJM’s company, there was so much backstabbing and bullying which isn’t surprising when the boss is a bully himself. It’s hard to imagine how they’re going to redeem him. So far he has shown zero character development. And honestly, the FL deserves so much better. The SML definitely seems like a better choice right now! Also, the other thing I find shocking is that LJM clearly already has feelings for her, but he didn’t even seem to feel bad or apologetic when it’s so clear that he really hurt her feelings and almost made her cry during dinner. The fact that he had to be told by other people that he crossed a line and needs to apologise is just pathetic. He should have realised that straight away once she walked away from dinner! Instead, it was the SML who came after her. She really deserves better, and it’s so hard to see how they’re going to redeem him. Anyway, I’ll keep watching for the FL!
Loved this episode, KTM and Hari are such a good couple and it was great seeing Hari being confident again after several episodes of her being really insecure and uncertain. I have a feeling that all the misunderstandings may be resolved in the next episode, and maybe it’ll even lead to KTM proposing to Hari again! And then a wedding in episode 12? We shall see. On a side note - was anyone else really worried KTM might have amnesia after the accident? So glad the teaser is showing that this probably won’t happen!
am i the only one not seeing how this is romantic? first he blackmails her into fake dating him. then in ep 8…
I think you’re totally right. In real life his behaviour would be super problematic and I actually felt quite uncomfortable when he told her that he’ll just continue pursuing her until she likes him (after she rejected him). No means no is clearly not a concept to him and agree they have a huge power imbalance.
That said, I am still really enjoying the show, because I find the trope of ‘hot overbearing CEO’ quite fun to watch, and I just shut my brain off for some of those scenes. But sometimes I do worry when younger people watch this and whether they’ll see it as romantic, because this is really not a healthy relationship dynamic at all. And I do wonder whether people will romanticise that sort of behaviour. And maybe I am too, because I am finding it quite fun to watch?
Well, her brother told him to go into her room to look for ointment, and then he spotted the title of the document…
Yes that’s a fair point! I agree that it’s crappy how his treating his own girlfriend. If he’s not in love with her, he should at least be honest and break up. Otherwise he’s just wasting her time.
so 2ML hit ML and FL let him there and went away with the 2ML ??oh my god.. this is bad.. 😣 There you go, annoying…
I think you’re right. Definitely sounds like it’s their second account. I am just amazed someone would waste so much time writing hate-comments. I am going to stop responding to comments.
I don’t understand why you keep watching it when you clearly don’t like it. Seems like a huge waste of time.…
The context is also important. The so called “perpetrator” (FL’s close friend and previous crush) overheard the ML basically blackmailing the FL and it sounded like they were in a exploitative relationship. That’s why he hit the ML.
It made perfect sense that the FL would break up the fight, (there was also a police car driving by!) take him away and explain that it’s was a bit of a misunderstanding and that he needs to stay out of it.
Yet another disappointing episode.Just when you think ML and FL can not get any pathetic,The show turns ML into…

Also, Hari stopped Taemo because a police car was driving by. Makes perfect sense to me. Plus, I would find it more embarrassing if Taemo got into a fist fight. I would hope that a CEO can keep his temper in check and doesn’t stoop to that level.

I don’t actually dislike Min-Woo. I think he genuinely cares about Hari, and overall I think he’s also been a good friend to her all this time. He cooks her dinner all the time, her family clearly know him very well, he helps them out. And yes, maybe he wasn’t man enough to confess that he has feelings but lots of people struggle to move from friendship to relationship. And in the end, it’s going to backfire on him because she will move on and marry someone else. I actually hope they continue being friends afterwards. They clearly have a lot of history as friends, and I hope he learns to accept her new relationship and is happy for her ultimately. At least he’ll finally experience what it was like for her over those 7 years.
