You’re welcome.
Won Bin’s name has been referenced in drama & variety shows and whatnot. He’s really an outstanding actor of his generation. Wish he’d come back soon 🥲
Sorry friends … no feedback for episode 4 (yet, maybe?) I've been a little occupied. Maybe next week, if it…
To add on what bloomingtide said, it’s more so a pop culture reference. The joke is the grandfather’s name is associated with a handsome actor whose name is Won Bin, unlike the 3 sons who have unattractive names. Won Bin was considered a ‘heartthrob’ prolific film actor in the early 2000-2009 but hasn’t been active in acting industry for over more than 10 years so he may not sound familiar compare to currently active-well known handsome actors like Gong Yoo or Hyun Bin. So some might not understand the name reference of the joke lol.
Thanks for your insights. Really enjoyed reading them!
I have an elder brother with autism and down syndrome. And my experience is different than what is being shown…
It is a drama & fiction. It’s not a representation of someone’s real experiences. I don't think the writer has any ill intentions when she wrote the show & more so wanted to show what society should be when it comes to inclusivity of people who are autistic and what not. And in media, stories written about autistic people aren’t always sad & dark.
Ep 3 does highlight that not all autistic people are the same because of environment- upbringing and that autism is a spectrum. In Ep 4 due to bullying YW transferred different schools and her family moved into several towns. She was raised by her single father. Are fathers not allowed to care for their autistic children? And she didn’t get automatically hired to be an attorney after graduation. YW is autistic but does not have Down Syndrome.
Although I'm not autistic nor do I have family members who are, I do understand your sentiment about the show.
It’s mainly about the FL’s life as an attorney & her dynamic with people she works with & meets. But there is a blooming relationship between the leads. It’s endearing & precious.
Of all roles I’ve seen KKY in, his role here is probably my favorite. His comedic timing is impeccable & he…
I love mentor-mentee relationship like these. It’s rare to see in kdramas where the boss character is a good person & willing to learn from younger peers. Yes, his character growth was the best.
What was that, at the end of the preview for episode5?? 🤩🤩
“In the name of Cham Cham Cham, Lee Jun Ho likes Woo Young Woo. Is this true?” ✨
As an attorney, YW is learning about how to tell when people are lying. I’m assuming she’s practicing it for work with JH but I think she also wants to know how he feels about her 😆.
hate love triangle. I hope that the love story between YW and JH is built in a beautiful and light way, without…
I agree. Honestly the reason why I don’t watch romance drama because most of the time it’s POORLY constructed. So if there’s a blooming romance, hope it’s between YW & JH without any odd love triangle. There’s already a foundation between the two. I’d love to see their relationship explored in a romantic sense.
The writer of this fantastic show must have some connection to an Autistic person. She really seems to understand…
I was curious how her writing would translate in a drama format since this is her first drama series & I’m quite impressed. The fact that she got JWS & KHG as the cast for her 1st movie project was wow already. KHG definitely deserved an award.
PEB is doing exceptionally great here & the cast too.
I personally think that the scene was kinda misplaced, I understand the emotions behind the and how wonderfully…
JH showed YW that whale portrait because she likes whales. They’ve been whale buddies🐳 since Ep 1.
She also mentioned she’s never seen a whale in real life so that huge hyper realistic image of that whale is the closest thing. He wanted to show it to her not because she did a good job on her case. He wasn’t able to give her a gift as an apology from before. The sight of whale was a greater gift seeing how emotional & amazed YW was seeing that.

While his sons have funky name. Definitely did them dirty.

I haven’t rewatched any of the episodes yet so I might do it before next week ep airs.

Rooting for her all the way!✨🐳
Google - how to teleport us to next Wednesday. 😆

But it’s alright. Still one of the better dramas currently airing.✨😌🐳
