I love him too. I hope we do get more of his backstory but from we do know he worked at volunteer program & hasn’t gone to the military. I’m not sure if that’s alluding to something later. Im assuming it’s an intentional writing choice.

The fake wedding consultation and marriage talks seem pretty alluding to something. Not that I’m expecting anything grandiose in the end but like you said, the blooming relationship between YW & JH is already in the works from the start.
