How can anybody move on fully with that kind of breakup especially at the hight of the love, one that they initiated…
That’s what I’m saying, even after 20 years she didn’t move on. She still thought about him.

Also KTR & NJH are aware of the way the relationship between high schooler HD & adult YJ was written & approached it with caution for this drama.

I’m glad that they both were conscious about it which makes me appreciate them even more but the writer still makes me 🤔😒 lol.

"I already knew the ending from beginning, so even the bright part felt vague. Watching the ending was sad and heartbreaking.

Nevertheless viewers gave so much love. Heedo was really lovely and Yijin was really a warm person

That's why people who support them naturally wanted the marriage ending.
I would too, as a viewers. I am sorry for the sad ending, I am also sad"

I feel the same 😭✨✨✨🍑
Thank you KTR for playing HD! Really brought so much life & energy to her!

this! I just hate the fact that I invested my heart and time on a drama.. a well-made one, only to find out the…
I mean if the drama was all about moving on & fleeting memories, did they really moved on though? HD definitely did not. I think she clung onto YJ as a memory for a long time even in 2021.

Honestly would have accepted the breakup more if they completed had moved on & how they grew out of it from 2009 but it didn’t seem so so I’m just annoyed. Would have showed the depth & change in their character. But nope, Everything is filled with regrets even at the end 😒

Did they both really moved on though? I don’t think so.
I mean even at the age of 41 she drives a red car.

You know when HD at 18 said when she was stuck at 13.

I think HD at 41 was stuck at 21. Her
memories with YJ was something she
definitely held onto very dearly & strongly. I think that's why at the end of the tunnel, she parted ways with YJ at at the age of 21 looking back at it at 41 fill with words she couldn’t say.

I mean she has a shop name 2521, drives a red car, & have rainbow chairs.

that's not what happened at all tho????? they broke up for themselves so they can be the best versions of themselves…
That’s what I’m saying. They protected their love by breaking up. Because the love was still there.

That’s what tvN also said. It was a preview statement before the ep aired. And a spoiler leak.

Still UBS? I can't place the exact timeline but the after credit scene said he had not logged into the system…
I’m meant in 2021? Where is he since there’s no video or news report from him since 2009. And also, MC would have seen him on tv.

So where is YJ after 2009? Because MC does not know who he is even though SJK saw him last month? So is still an anchor because MC would have saw him on TV.

I feel like their break up was foreshadowed the whole time. At the end they broke up because he could not make…
Yeah I knew a breakup was coming but I’m speaking from all their development & progression as characters since we all know how deeply they care for eachother even before they became romantic.

I agree and disagree with various points but overall, I think they had lost their ability to communicate and understand…
But that’s what I’m saying though. That they’ve shown us before how they got through tough times even before they were in a relationship. Would have made sense to have them fight for it & work it out at least once because how deeply they loved each other for their from character development & progression throughout the show. Everything happen in 1 ep & in time skip, so just feels contrived given from previous 15 ep between them.

It’s not the characters.

It’s the writer. She putting them in situation where we already know that they can get through it because of the character growth they’ve gone through & shown us.

Honestly the conflict between HD & YJ could be easily resolved by communication. The writing has shown us how well they were able to be communicate & understand each other even through conflict & differences before they were far apart & not even in love yet (from past episodes) but now they are in love they can’t? They have cellphones & computers now. Before, HD & YJ spoke to each other through phone booths.

HD & YJ had a very strong bond, even before a romantic one. I would understand the breakup more of they had HD & YJ tried at least one more time fight for their love & say ‘hey maybe this isn’t working out’ instead ignoring the issues & letting go. It would have shown the depth of their characters. But fast forward it shows that they have lingering feelings in limbo even in 2009 & after. 😒🙃 would have liked to see adult YJ & show that he eventually moved on. Also, the ‘first love narrative’ is so shoehorned with YJ. It does not work with him.

Why everyone assumes that she didnt marry BYJ??? Nothing was confirmed to me
Because MC does not know who he is.
