Still wondering why HD & YJ couldn’t stayed as friends after the breakup? Their bond was strong. Even if didn’t work out, did they just completely shut each other out after parting ways in 2001?

It all started because her shop is named 2521. Given that they aren’t together in the present, everyone assume it must’ve been a way to commemorate him in memories because he died lol.

Also because of the 2521 song. Everyone thought it was about two lovers parting ways but it’s about fleeting youth lol. There’s also a weird thing people said about Jaurim singer KYN who had a dead BF but that was false lol. She married her best friend who was a former tv broadcaster who later became a dentist.

I assumed something happen to him like he died but NJH said he isn’t dead lol.

So he’s not an anchor anymore because MC doesn’t recognize that name.

YJ not being dead confirmed by NJH himself is hilarious lol. Like we keep thinking he dies but he just tells everyone that we’re evil forces 🤣😆.

But on another note, YJ is definitely not an anchor anymore after 2009 because MC would’ve known who he was on the news in 2021.🤔 Must’ve change occupation?

I can’t even make myself rewatch the first few episodes. The feels are hitting hard enough already for the finale.

I’m wondering if any of them are atleast still in somewhat in contact in 2021. Because the bond that all of them had is way too special to have let go. Not saying they have to be best of friends in 2021 but it would be nice to see all of them, maybe not in the same frame, somehow in the present.

There’s a show call Beijing Fantasy where the older cast of the younger 18 yrs self still keep in contact even though they already lived their separate happy married lives in their 40’s.

Even if it doesn’t work out at the end, I want to see them at least try. Try to make it work instead ignoring or not addressing the external forces that’s trying to pull them apart. Ignoring & drowning in conflict is what got them nowhere (we’ve already seen this done). Having them part ways because they love each other too much doesn’t make sense. It’s sounds silly. They aren’t some tragic lovers, they are 25 & 21 young & in love. Let them figure it out instead of letting each other go to ‘protect’ love. Sounds idealistic, not realistic.

At least show them work through it once but then figuring out together it’s not working. Parting on mutual grounds would make the breakup much more meaningful & makes sense. It would show the depth of their growth as individuals.

Actually it dropped several times.

I recommend it! Lots of great emotional moments. A tiny hint of angst. And definitely no cheating lol. There’s no love triangle. Just characters supporting each other & growth.

If you like well directed shows with great cinematography, acting, & music, this one is it!

It’s not that he couldn’t hold out for a year, it’s that he loves HD that he prioritize his feelings for her 1st than work. It seems like he does transfer in ep 15.

I just hope that conflicts makes sense and not something trivial that can be resolve by talking to each other. Repeated misunderstanding is a typical common trope in romance dramas so I hope that’s not the case.

I just want HD & YJ to leave on good terms & not be heartbroken at 2521 & after because they can’t be together. It’s just bittersweet given that YJ eventually becomes a full time reporter & anchor and HD becomes a renown national fencer. She literally see his face on the news everyday & YJ sees her games on tv. 🤧

I hope it isn’t the case for 2521, they’ve been able to pull away from typical tropes.
