If this theory is correct, I think 2521 is the beginning of their story relationship, not end.

We know how much YJ cherish & love HD and vice versa. That’s why HD name her shop 2521.

But it’s just a theory. I prefer no death but seeing how the writer set up things already I’m not surprised by this narrative although I would like to be surprise some how.

Yes, it seems like present HD is canceling memories because it hurts to remember. I think MC will be the one to help her remember & eventually move on from grief. Yurim & YJ were two important people in her life. It’s not easy to move on from people who changed your life in a significant way.

I’m still definitely watching since were entering the final act. I think we only touched the tip of the iceberg. Hopefully the writer ties all the loose end in a meaningful way.

I think HD’s husband is also a reporter or journalist who travels a lot. Given that YJ was one & also HD’s mom, it’s probably how she met her current-now husband.

I honestly don’t like character death in dramas specifically for one like 2521 since it’s suppose to be about hopes & dreams 😒, so I’m hoping it’s not the case. I think because Jaurim’s songs is already used as a framework for the narrative, I’m hoping the writer surprises the viewers since she likes to throw curveballs. I really want to be suprised since having the story framed this way is waaay to on the nose.

I think this why MC doesn’t know who these people are because it’s hurts too much to speak about them. HD pretends like the time spent with them never happened. But it did.

Why do u get the feeling HD will lose both Yurim & YJ in the process? If the writer is using Jaurim’s songs as a blueprint for the story, there’s a song called “the chat with her who died two days ago” which could be referencing Yurim? There also a song called “Viva Kim’s Family” referring to HD’s currently family, her husband and MC? Jaurim’s other song is called “rainbow” and “I’m your fan” which has already been referenced in the show already in ep 2 & ep 8/9. Another song is called “If you sleep here, you’ll freeze to death.” So I’m wondering if this song will play into context within the story? Maybe in reference to YJ. The the songwriter’s late boyfriend died due to overwork overseas? Will this be used as a hint to YJ’s health deteriorating due to overworking? 🤔

I think HD loses Yurim first. HD & YJ eventually fell in love but their relationship was short lived because he passed away? I think HD’s current husband must have a similar job as YJ, maybe someone HD met along the way because of YJ? She probably had her shop before she met her current husband & named it 2521.

I’m not sure if YJ is the jealous type lol. He seems very sure that the person he likes will like him only 😆.

Seeing how he was in the broadcasting club in high school & being a newspaper boy, it sort of hints that he would most likely become a reporter. Also because during that time, it’s the only job he can really get without a college degree that pays well. I thinks it’s to not only be closer to HD but to jumpstart a a career/dream like she did.

The relationship in this drama is more mature than typical romance dramas that involves a bunch of 30+ yr olds. No unnecessary miscommunication. Just pure honesty. Nothings taken ever too seriously in a dramatic manner so it’s just kids trying to figure out their feelings & being comfortable around each other. No awkwardness either. Given these are a bunch of 18 year olds who don’t know what do with their life yet, they are so conscious & self-aware about their feelings.

Probably has to do with seeing HD physically hurt (bruises)? Or maybe it was an accident lol. It seemed like she slammed into him & he gave her a hug.

It’s omitted so there won’t be a hug scene at the beach. The part where YJ ask HD to go buy drinks together, that’s where the hug scene(that was cut out) comes into play but it didn’t. The scene went straight to the outside shower scene.

I think the beach trip continues for a bit in ep 11. There has to be one more scene since the picture of them with YJ in green & HD in blue overalls has not been aired yet. I think this is their last time together at the beach.
