Ep 11 HD & YJ stacking game scene

"It was a really fun scene to shoot. The chemistry between Heedo and Yijin is the best. These two are so adorable! This is one of my favorite scenes. "

-2521 Staff

Love the way it was shot. It’s framed almost like a painting. The color pallet and the clothes choice. Why are they so precious. YJ falling off the bench lol. HD grabbing the rocks. 😆✨🍑

This is literally THEE best scene 🤣🤣🤣🤣omg.

The way YJ face changed when she broke the sticks & grabbed the rocks 😆.

I don't about y'all but I'm 60% sure that Yijin will not die, he's Minchae's father and he and Heedo got married.…
Praying to the drama gods 🤣🤞

Oh wow, turns out her 'ex-boyfriend' who died at 27 wasn't the inspiration of the song? xDShe also talks about…
You’re welcome!

I don’t know where the dead ex BF theory came from? I’m still quite confused lol. I just hope nobody dies.

I’m really curious how HD transition from a fencer to a wood shop keeper? Like was there a place she worked at during her college years or a class she ends up taking? Ahhh I’m ready for HD & JW college days.

It’s to show the essence of nostalgia & past memories. It’s also a teaching lesson to MC about her current…
My only gripe is I’m not a fan of the older actress’ delivery of HD. I’m not sure if it’s intentional or if she’s not used to being in front of a camera because she’s a stage actress. Something isn’t clicking. It’s the way she says her line & her face is hard to read.

Yep. It’s a plot device but it’s what the writer intended. It’s doing a great job at it since it has people talking lol. If it wasn’t written this way, I think the show wouldn’t have gain the engagement & buzz it has now if show was done in a linear narrative.

If we’re looking at the show at face value, then they aren’t really hiding the father thing. YJ is not the father. MC last name is Kim. HD mom met YJ a while back. YJ is alive. HD husband is working distantly. He isn’t shown due to covid, a point the show wanted to make about present times.

I honestly don't get the point of the present day mystery? To annoy us? To keep us talking? They are being deliberately…
It’s to show the essence of nostalgia & past memories. It’s also a teaching lesson to MC about her current predicament with ballet. If HD is going through some sort of grief or internal struggle that has to to do with the past, then there will a plot point. I mean if even HD & YJ aren’t together (in marriage & whatnot) doesn’t mean stuff that happens between them never happened. Their love transcends romantic love. It isn’t just a love story.

I love BaekDo🍑 but I’m not surprised that they don’t end up together. I will actually be more surprise if they end up together lol.

as much as i hate the right person wrong timing trope your theory seems realistic than those minchae is adopted…
MC is definitely not adopted lol. Still not sure about the surname change? Still a mystery. Still doesn’t explain why MC doesn’t recognize her own dad if YJ was it.

If they do something like that....i might destroy things Also i have my own interpretation of my mister's ending
We all know how
much HD & YJ care about each other. They don’t see each other just as a romantic prospect but people first. I prefer an alive YJ than a dead one. Seeing how the story is contextualized, killing YJ off doesn’t sit right with me. Then being together also doesn’t quite click either because of context clues.

I love My Mister. When I watch 2521 I think
about the show and it’s realistic truest portrayal of unconditional love. I see HD & YJ’s relationship in a similar way, but within a romantic context. If the show ends in a similar way then I’ll be pretty happy. I want them to meet in the present somehow. But then again I could be wrong so take it with a grain of salt 🤣

I hope that not the case
Seeing how the story is playing out, seems plausible but hey anything is fair game lol.
On Twenty Five Twenty One Mar 18, 2022
If they pull off a My Mister ending, honestly I will be satisfied. At least I know that YJ is alive & well and actually got to achieve what he wanted, even if it wasn’t with HD. I want them to meet in the present at least once.
On Twenty Five Twenty One Mar 18, 2022
How I see HD & YJ is that they found each other at the right time but fell in love at the wrong time. Just because they aren’t together(present) doesn’t mean they didn’t love each other. The love was there (probably still is) but it wasn’t their time.

As of right now, YJ is moving onto a pinnacle point in his life. He’s going to become a permanent news reporter meaning he’s going to get opportunity to reach newer heights. With all this talk about foreshadowing the distance that’s going to wedge in between the two, it’s probably hinting about the distance between them in the future(hence the present). HD is taking the college exam & has fencing. She’s going to have to focus on those things. More things are going to keep them apart to the point they realize it’s the only way to be happy.

Title Twenty Five Twenty One Spoiler
So if we’re going by what is presented to us already in a literal sense at face value (without the Jaurim songs & whatnot), if HD’s mom really met YJ in a physical sense (not dead) this concludes one thing,

- YJ is alive. Not sure what’s he’s doing in the present time, maybe has a different occupation. Maybe he eventually achieved his dream?

- MC is HD’s & her current husband kid. Not YJ. What’s her relationship with her husband? Are they together, separated, co-parenting of some sort? HD doesn’t have a ring on her finger but marriage nowadays people don’t wear one?

- HD & YJ do eventually fall in love at 2521 but life presented YJ opportunities to pursue his dreams (NASA, oversea work, stable career, wealth, security, provide for his family, pay off debt). We know HD always wanted YJ to be happy & lets him go. HD being young, still unsure what to do with her life stays in Seoul.

- HD retires from fencing & found a new profession. She met someone else (with a similar occupation as YJ?) & later marries & has MC at 26.

-YJ present personal life is unknown.

What happens to the TaeYang squad in the past or present? That is still a mystery. But something must’ve happen but I’m not sure if it’s tragic. Where are they in the present time? That I still don’t know.

Some just thoughts. ✨✨✨🤔

Why its popularity is still ,#348. ☹️ Is it not so popular as business proposal ? Can anyone clarify?
It’s actually currently #18?

Because of the shift with the hurting phase, I am convincing myself that there would be a happy ending with this…
I think it’s best not to focus too much on the timeframe lol. Whatever happens in the next 6 ep, it will happen. Just prepare for 🤧🤧🤧 🤣

Yurim gave JW a lucky spoon to take for the college exam 😆. How cute.
Okay but where HD’s lucky spoon 🤣.
