somewhere out of nowhere

"I don't think not living your dream means you've failed in life. and I don't think living your dreams means you've succeeded either"

I’m wondering if this is hinting YJ & his current occupation? Will he eventually achieve his dreams ( NASA & engineer work) later in life or working as a reporter enough? I really like this statement a lot because sometimes life doesn’t work out the way you want but you end up finding joy in something in the least expecting way. YJ said he admired HD’s mom professionalism & work ethics as a reporter.

Seems like she’s tired of study or school related stuff. I think she’s going to choose a different path instead…
Ah yes that might be it too. She’s bored. She doesn’t fine things exciting. That’s why JW is so important to her.

My issue with HD mom is that she cares but lack simple communication. It’s like she does these little things that show she cares about HD & def did not forget about their dad but it’s gives HD the wrong impression of her because she doesn’t speak to HD. HD didn’t know her mom still had her wedding bands until just recently in present timeline 🤔.

I liked that we got some backstory with her mom & saw some of her perspective. But I’m not going to lie I’m…

I think the reason why HD’s highschool days has been this long is because it needs room to develop from her fencing arc & to her building friends with Yurim , SW, & JW. Which is fine. It’s suppose to give that sense of fleeting youth hood since they are graduating soon.

But yes. I’m ready for Taeyang adulthood.

That confession was not meant to be romantic as many people may have seen it to be romantic. It was a confession…
His feelings for her definitely are even though the confession isn’t presented as romantic. He feels all kinds of things for her, love, inspiration, hope, security, etc.

YJ also shows it through his actions. His little physical touches & gazes is framed as so even though it’s from HD’s perspective. He definitely does not love her like a sibling or simply as a friend.

If HD wasn’t in highschool, I’m sure his mannerism towards her would be way different.

When HD said she still stuck at 13 because her dad died & her mom worked nonstop had me in tears 😭. The confrontation between the two was much needed. They both needed this resolve to move on & fix their relationship for the better.

literally logged in after a month cause i caught up with this :') i saw a lot of comments about the age age but…
It’s a mixture of all kinds of love. He definitely loves her deeply in a unconditional way because he supports her wholeheartedly but in a romantic sense, I think it’s there too.

I personally consider them platonic soulmates which makes my viewing more enjoyable. Just have to ignore the romantic…
Like they aren’t officially dating romantically but the show has it framed in way as if they are (unofficially). 🤔

I think JW might get into photography as a profession or something in media. As for SW, she might be a radio DJ? She might not pursue college. Yurim seems like she’ll focus on fencing full time? And maybe work parttime. HD seems like she’ll try college out if she gets in lol. I love that she’s doing wood work now. Really a sentimental meaning behind it.

Currently on Episode 11 and while I still liked the show as a whole, can they PLEASE get Heedo out of school so…
My dilemma lol.

This is why can’t I ship in peace lol. 🤣

Yep. Looks like they don’t start college exams next ep. in November. Not 2000 yet.
Ep 5-6 was a time jump of 9 months.

Ep 11-12 might be a 6th month time jump. From end of summer to nov to graduation which is held in Feb.

Koreans graduate in February BTW so there will be a month or so where they're technically 24, 20 and Heedo is…

I think a lot of people like the energy & story arc from ep 1-8 which I thought were perfect & the highlight.

I’m still enjoying the show. The cinematography is 🔥🔥🔥Everything is framed like paintings.

Me too. I wish it was 20 ep but I’m might have a diff opinion once the show ends.

I find it kinda funny when people complain about it being slow (usually just happy and healing scenes) but also…
I’m not ready for pain. I was already crying watching ep 11. HD’s memory of her dad always makes me emotional. When HD cries I cry 😭.

Well it’s a mixture of all things.

Is it just me that haven’t lost interest😅it’s just as good to me as the beginning episodes
Nah. I’m still enjoying it. I love slice of life genre. But I can see why people are. The energy isn’t the same as the first half.
