In mr sunshine she’s 26 and he’s 39. She’s a grown woman so it’s not wrong. They barely have any romantic scene either. There’s no kiss either. Heck I’d say the romantic gaze is much stronger in 2521 than in Mr sunshine lol. He just appear older because the actor is much older.

I have to partially agree on Yurim about being super mean to HD. Like she has a major inferior complex against HD for 8 straight episodes so it would have been nice to see her admit that than it just being ‘scared’?

I didn’t expect them to be the best of friends but more so just on okay-good terms. But then again HD never hates & hold grudges against people. Yurim is a very lucky person to have HD. Although I prefer the way it is now. I don’t want to see anymore nasty fights lol.

I don’t see HD & YJ relationship as romantic (not yet anyways) since they aren’t officially in love or dating, but the show has their relationship framed with a hint in a romantic sense so it’s hard to ignore.

Yes the drama is also romance so it has to have the flair of romance. But that’s where writer shot themselves in the foot for having HD in highschool so long. Even YJ gaze reads romantic. Like I said there are young impressionable viewers who watch these stuff and will see it that way.

I love BaekDo🍑. I see their relationship that transcends romance, something much more deeper & beauiful.

I definitely would not recommend Goblin lol. You’re be wasting your time as it reads like an ad most of the time lol. Btw, I’m not comparing 2521 to Goblin.

There’s nothing wrong bringing these kinds of things up. I actually thinks it healthy having these conversations because it shows that viewers aren’t just eating up-consuming media in a vacuum. It’s the way the show is framed even thought nothing ever goes beyond small touches & glances. It’s still framed in a romantic context.

I love this show & BeakDo 🍑as much as anyone but pointing these things out is important to keep note. There will be young impressionable viewers watching this show so it’s best to tread carefully, which is what the show is trying to do but not really either.

I watched Goblin and I complain the living crap out of that show so it would be hypocritical of me to not to point these in 2521.
