I think it’s the acting. She’s a stage actress. She has plenty of guest roles before but her acting isn’t clicking for me. Her face expression is hard to read & her line delivery is a tad robotic.

The present HD serves as a plot point in the story. Personally not a fan of the acting but story wise her role makes sense.

It’s best to watch all the way to enjoy the full experience of the show 😆.

Not to shallow brag, but KTR & NJH have the prettiest defined side profiles. Literally, legit look like they both stepped out of a manga, specifically in that kiss scene.

Ah yes, growing apart is what comes with growing up. But from a written standpoint, I just love the way the writer wrote HD & YJ’s relationship. It’s such a rare thing in kdramas. It’s like ‘written in the stars’ kind of way & also ‘cemented on concrete’- something that’s not easily broken. It’s so well done. Lots of meaning & depth.

It’s funny because i know people who’ve only been with their first partner their whole life & still happily married. It’s rare but definitely not unrealistic, at least to me. I feel like to have been with someone that long it means the bond is so strong & significant between the two. Such a unique & beautiful thing right.

That’s how I see HD & YJ. Their bond is so strong, you’d need to physically pull them away lol. Like it transcends romantic love but the act of all kinds of love is there nonetheless.

It’s mostly personal preference. Personally NJH filmography doesn’t really interest me. I tried Startup, dropped it lol, and Nurse Files(snippets). I remember seeing WLFKBJ looong time ago with someone (never fully watch it). But I really adore him in 2521. The writing, story, dialogue, directing, music, & cast-acting is just awesome.

When I say NJH got to shine in 2521, I speaking more so if he was casted for Our Blues instead & didn’t choose to be in 2521, because it would be different since Our Blues has an assemble-cast story narrative. So I’m glad he chose 2521 instead & is receiving outpouring love as the ML. He’s been BuzzWorthy Actor & Racoi Ranking for 6 weeks straight in the top 2 with KTR. They have not left those two spots since the show premiered.

Also the rest of the cast as well. Bona, LJM, & CHW. Like I had my doubts before the show even filmed last year but they really shine here & made me adore them so much. 🥺 Taeyang squad! ✨✨✨🌈

2521 still going strong too. The impact it has. I mean it’s being quoted by idols & celebrities are watching it. There’s so much fan theories & tweets going around every week. 2521 hasn’t left the #1 spot on the Nielsen, Racoi, & Good Data BuzzWorthy for 6 weeks straight. It’s still in the top 10 globally on Netflix chart. I’m happy for 2521 team!

Honestly, glad NJH took on this project. He showed his aptitude as an actor & got to shine. I always thought of him awkward onscreen, specifically in his older work but he really matured here. He seems much more relax & confidence and it radiates on the show. I think he was most likely casted in a shelved project that later became ‘Our Blues’, tvN’s next weekend drama after 2521. That cast is stacked but being a lead in 2521 fair much better given that it’s popular both in SK & internationally.
