Seems like the second half will be more slice of life. Which makes sense. It doesn’t have the same energy as the first 8 but I honestly still enjoying it. I want to know where everyone goes from here.
Plus side for those uncomfortable with the age gap, Hee Do should be a legal adult in tomorrow's episode :D
It’s not the age gap people have an issue with. It’s the way it’s visually framed. Like she’s always in her school uniform and he’s in his work attire(appears older-adult) so it comes off a bit iffy even though they aren’t doing anything remotely romantic.
This was why I was complaining about Goblin because it was framed in way FL always in her highschool attire & speaks a childlike manner which annoyed me to no ends & the ML looks like he’s hitting 40.
I’m so excited for the next ep but also nervous? Like I’m hoping no one dies & we’ve been all wrong the whole time. Still doesn’t add up to why HD doesn’t speak about the beach trip. Since HD & her mom keeps emphasizing ‘in order to move on you have to forget’ & present HD is doing the same thing?

It’s being told from HD’s diary so the story is most of it would be about her since it draws into the present day HD. But yes, I would like to see reporter YJ. He just became a permanent reporter so I think we’ll get to see him do his thing in the last 5 ep.
Yeah ep 1-8 was high obtain energy. But since it’s slice of life, they have to tie in that essence. But I’m still enjoying it very much since I like that kind of stuff. It gives more insight on the characters in a personal way.

That’s too absurd lol. Knowing that HD didn’t have her father, it wouldn’t make sense for her to have a kid and not tell YJ or that YJ is the dad. Plus she had MC at 26. 5 years later after they fell in love. Within those 5 years things could change?
