Am i the only one who cant seem to enjoy it to the max? Im stuck at ep 3 and dont feel the energy to keep on watching.…
The first 4 ep sets up the general cast of characters & their relationship to each other. So it’s like the first act of the story. It picks up plot wise in ep5 and up.
To me, their separation wasn’t because they fell out of love, maybe they couldn’t be together due to some circumstances. And just because they aren’t physically together (in the present) doesn’t mean they don’t think about each other. It’s obvious they still do. I get the feeling that if YJ is alive, he knows he has a daughter. HD probably never told MC she has a dad(alive) because of something, which the viewers doesn’t know about yet. I get the feeling that if HD mom met YJ(alive) then at one point so did HD in the present.
The director said there will be a kiss scene???......can't wait for that😂
Yes there will be one & hopefully more lol. In fact this is what he said during the live press conference before the show aired about KTR & NJH as leads-
"No matter what scene they filmed, be it a funny, romance, or -if i were to give you a spoiler- a kiss scene, everything they prepared was beautiful, sad, elegant and pretty."
I’m looking forward to it since it’s KTR first onscreen kiss with a male costar.
I love how we all agree that MC is YJ & HD’s daughter because the more I watch the more likely it is? Not 100% sure but it seems so. The past two ep seems to put a lot of emphasis on YJ ‘s parents relationship and how much they truly love each other(albeit being lovely doves cringe fest lol). They are not physically together but it doesn’t mean they don’t love each other. YJ mom never regretted marrying YJ’s dad, only separate due to conflicts. YJ mom even told him he should be with someone who inspires him to be better. That is what makes a successful life. YJ then decides to to go back to Seoul, but he has not found someone he wants to be with to make that life yet (foreshadowing the bond between YJ & HD) since we know they eventually fall in love at 2521. It seems like this will mirror YJ & HD’s relationship in the future (with outside conflict & whatnot)?

There’s a note indicating that Yurim health is not that great. She feels tired. I’m not sure but there is a keynote that she eventually passes away? Don’t know if it’s due to fencing. In another trailer, there’s a scene , I think it’s HD consoling YJ because he’s crying. He’s wearing all black & HD is wearing her full uniform. She leans in to give him a comfort hug. Take it with a grain of salt because I’m not sure if this is 100% true but it seems very likely. This all happens while HD is still in her last year of school.

It was during a live interview along with NJH when they went on air with JaeJae. I don’t think YJ dies (hopefully lol) but there seem to be very spoilers stuff on Twitter. And if it’s what I think might happen yeah it’s gonna be a tearjerker. Honestly I don’t think I’m ready for it.
KTR wrote that 2521 is a sad youth drama with lots of heartaches which is true because I’m already crying and we haven’t got to the most heartbreaking parts yet. 😭

As someone who was skeptical of NJH 7 months ago, I am still surprise how much onscreen chemistry KTR & NJH have as leads. It’s insane actually lol. KTR & NJH delivered it since ep 1.
They did 2 CF together, that sort of counts a lil bit lol.
is it just me or was the build up from heedo sucking at fencing to competing for a gold medial just.. non existent?…
HD lacks confidence but never really sucked at fencing. HD is actually good but lacks any motivation to do so or be better because no one supports her & keeps doubting herself. She was considered once a prodigy. Also it’s the time constraint, because if this was like anime we’ll have like 12+ more ep just to build that up but it doesn’t unfortunately lol. The way I see HD is she reminds me a lot of a shonen protagonist in a dance manga who is really good at dancing surprisingly but don’t have any confidence but once he starts getting the support system, it changes everything.
There’s other tons drama airing, find something you like.
