One of TLB strongest suite is action sequences/fight choreography. It’s really well done. Leo is excels in that department here. Dilraba is pretty good too.

I know that fight/acrobatics is popular in historical/Wuxia dramas but I love that the action scenes in TLB are more grounded/realistic. I love when A’sun kicks. A’sun is really good at kicking people lol. It so satisfying to watch. Ever night also has really great action sequences.

C-drama tends to have better character development/characterization for the characters. Their historical dramas are definitely much more engaging although I like contemporary Kdramas.

I think it will hit 20k too. That’s a lot within a month.

During the grassland arc in the manhua, A’sun actually doesn’t know that Chang Ge is a girl. Mimi is a slave sent to Eagles camp and Chang Ge asks for Mimi to be hers lol.

I love Chang Ge & Mimi (TдT) in the manhua.

I didn’t care much for Hao Du or Leyan. Yes, A’sun & Chang Ge are awesome. Although, I like Chang Ge & Leyan’s friendship. More female friendship is a plus! I wish we got to see more of ChangGe & Mimi because I love their ‘married’ relationship in the manhua lol.

Is this the most commented c-drama here on drama list? That’s huge lol. I think the most commented drama on here is Startup. That has like 30k for a 16 ep show.

I love the manhua’s portrayal of A’sun. A’sun in the drama is completely different but I do understand why he acts the way he does.

The political intrigue in the manhua is so engaging. The drama is melo dramatic to my disliking.

I love manhua A'sun. A'sun grew up under the Greater Khan's care in the grassland so his personality being lively & charismatic is pretty true to his character & would be different than that of a Han person. In terms of their relationship in the manhua unlike the drama, A'sun being restraint in his romantic gestures towards Chang Ge really captures the conservativeness between them during that time period since she's both a Han princess and niece of an Elteber so he wouldn't want to overstep because of social class.

I like ambiguity lol. But as individual characters, not romantically, I love them in the manhua. Dilreba and Leo do look nice together as Change Ge & A'sun. Leo has the perfect height & physique as A'sun.

Heard it through the grapevine so don't quote me lol, that Xia Da has rights to her manhua now so hopefully she will continue the amazing story! I also heard that the manhua will be getting an animated tv show but I could be wrong. Either way, I'm so happy for her!

I adore Change Ge & A'sun character dynamic and relationship so much. Trying to find a dynamic & relationship similar to them is rare in any manhua/manga books or drama. In the drama from a writing standpoint, Chang Ge & A'sun are okay. Manhua, they both feel much more grounded & realistic.

I didn't realize Viki had it. I watched the first 12 episodes 2 yrs back.

The thing about the drama is that they added new materials that wasn't in the manhua. The drama would've been fine even if it wasn't exactly part by part like the manhua but the inclusion of the new materials like new characters and subplots just feels unnecessarily overstuffed.

I’ve seen Six Flying Dragon! Well the first 12 episode about 2 years ago. I can’t find a decent streaming site to watch the whole thing so I put it on hold. The cast is great, although I wasn’t a huge fan of the MC lol.

Honestly, if they excluded /cut out the new characters, 49 episodes would be okay runtime.

The manhua has like 61 chapters? I think the production had enough to cover but as mentioned, the inclusion of new characters really bogged down the momentum.
