I don't get the MDL rating, but I am glad that the show is holding strong.
Yeah it really is. It transitions from the funnier moments to the more serious dramatic moments. It’s light hearted & straightfoward. The cast is likeable too.
If his character shall be developed in S1, then it means he needs to be less than those descriptions in the early…
I think you’re talking about character depth. You’re saying JH lacks depth.
To me character development is more like a progression-arc the characters undergoes. JH never really undergoes character development either.
Visual storytelling is very effective & impactful. Instead of telling the audience from two line dialogue, it should show us instead. It’s like I’m reading a book without the detail imagery. I can’t visualize how these characters lead their lives if they don’t show it to us. The ones that got depth were YW, the dad, GRM, & MS. And a bit of TSM. The rest were - not so much.
JH characterization would’ve been more effective if those characters points said by KTO in the interview were included-shown in the show instead. Not in an interview after when the show has ended because I never got that impression from JH in the show.

I wasn’t talking about improvement. I’m speaking about the progression of one’s story from point a to point b. But execution is key.
I feel like characters can have depth but lack character development & vice versa. But as I say it’s all about execution.

The writing suffers from exposition here & there.
