Binged until episode 6, and I have to say I haven’t been this hooked on a drama in years. Honestly, I’m surprised to see so many negative critiques here—I have no complaints at all. This doesn’t feel like the typical idol drama that ignores social norms and etiquette; instead, it’s surprisingly realistic. The portrayal and even some small details of unmarried women, for example, is refreshing as the drama consistently adheres to the rigid norms of the time. And, oh my god, the characters radiate such strong Pride and Prejudice energy—I’m absolutely loving it, savoring every moment without leaving a single crumb.

at least one person dies per episode that this drama is almost like a survival show. please have mercy on those who are left now, well except for Zhen Yu.

In a xianxia drama world where the divorce rate exceeds 70%, and the case of killing the love interest or themselves to save the world due to miscommunication or lack of teamwork is alarmingly high, this couple truly sets an example on how to communicate and be there for each other. (though they might have made a mistake like that in their previous life, at least they didn't repeat it in present.) 🌜✨💕🫂
