I'm seeing a lot of people say the FL was toxic to ML and are bashing her. Am I the only one who thought the ML was more toxic than the FL? loved that the FL was very strong, bold, and straight forward about what she wanted and the ML in comparison was wishy washy at best who had some commitment issues that were super annoying and frustrating. He was so back and forth with his feelings and sent mixed signals to FL for more than half the drama. Not to mention he was a little bit self centered and selfish in most of his thought processes. It was like he never really considered how FL would feel about something. it was always how he felt about it and how it affected him. Also for most of the drama he never even tried to understand the main FL or made any effort what so ever to get to know her. It wasn't till close to the end that he was finally like "oh...she might have feelings and trauma too." His character just really sucked the enjoyment out of their relationship development. I did like the story and the acting was amazing. Just thought it could have been better.
the satisfying revenge can fit here cus they only give us 8 episodes and even in their wedding scene I feel like…
I understand the lesson it was trying to portray but was simply disappointed in the execution of it. Since it was 8 episodes though I can see how it would have been challenging to build up a satisfying revenge arc. I would have loved to see father daughter pair wrought with anxiety and mentally falling apart as their empire crumbled around them but thats just me π€·π»ββοΈ
this was a little disappointing to be honest. I was hoping for more satisfying revenge but most of this drama consisted of Seo-Hye just getting stepped on by other people and when the revenge finally did happen it wasn't as satisfying as it could have been. I wish the main FL could have been a little stronger. The OST was perfect though.
π π π π Me, too! I wish the entire drama was a total of 40 episodes only.
Oh wow, I didnβt realize she was so young! I just thought she had a baby face. I think she is perfect for the role though and think she is doing a really good job with her part

I like her chubby face. I think she is very cute. I don't like it when they are so painfully skinny their faces are all pointy to the point of looking inhuman.
oh my gosh, Woo Young Woo is an absolutely adorable character. I love her so much. I did not know I was going to enjoy watching this drama as much as I am. I'm so excited to see the character development between Young Woo and Jun Ho
they have it on amazon prime with English. Well the first three episodes anyway.
I hope so. With any luck they'll take pity on us and finish the series. If not I'll just continuously send them little crying faces until they finally relent and post the rest of them just to shut me up haha
I was totally going to give this drama a try but I've never seen so many negative comments on a single page before xD. Definitely going to spare myself from this one. Thanks guys haha
as sometime frustrating as they are, I love daily dramas. Sure the repetitive and cliche plot lines and plot developments can be predictable and sometimes annoying but the character growth and development is always amazing. You can't get that in a 16 episode drama. Daily dramas really know how to build tension and the viewers emotions so that when something exciting FINALLY happens, it makes all the waiting worth it. Daily dramas put the actual DRAMA in a drama.
I just hope they do justice to the original Mulan ballad. I love the Disney version but I think it was originally Disney who messed with an already perfectly awesome story and well....disneyfied it. I'm looking forward to this remake in the hopes that they make it a little more darker and keep to the awesomeness of the original ballad making Mulan a little more kickass. I mean come on, in the ballad Mulan was a general. The Disney movie made her a simple soldier who only defeated the huns because she essentially got lucky. Maybe the new version will give her a little more deserved credit.
once again can't say how amazing this drama is turning out to be. Loving the character development and complexity of all the characters involved. IU is doing a marvelous job in her role and I'm in love with her character. It's so refreshing to FINALLY see a badass streetsmart cool heroine who isn't a naive idiot for once who doesn't fall for every lame villainous scheme against her. It's cool to see a heroine actually a step ahead of her enemies for once giving her more of a predatory character vibe instead of the meek mild rabbit hopping around in circles stupidly waiting to be eaten.
