I'm pretty sure that he and his gross empress go down as some of the most despicable characters ever. thats pretty impressive too considering I'm watching a drama right now that involves a gaggle of baby killers.

agreed. It's so weird because I normally have bad second lead syndrome but this time, I don't think i've hated a male character more then I hate Qiyu. what a douche hat

Great article! I loved reading this, you crack me up. There are so few dramas where the lead is actually decent all the way through. The male lead in Dr. Gang is definitely applicable to this category of rare gentlemen. Probably one of the most devoted and sweet male leads i'v seen.

same goes for older Chinese dramas. I've also noticed how hard it is to find subbed Thailand dramas. this whole topic in general just makes me one sad panda

well darn. maybe it will be picked up sometime in the future. in the meantime i'll just keep an eye out for any subbed versions. *sigh* the struggles of a dramalover.

so....did anyone else notice the inconsistency of the elevator scenes? she obviously has severe claustrophobia yet there were a few scenes where she steps out of an elevator to go tell someone something or leaves with someone in an elevator and is perfectly fine. I figured the writers would pay more attention to that since they made a big point out of her claustrophobia and all. I have no idea why but this just bothers me.

I agree that the love triangles are pretty useless and only serve to infuriate me and question how any human being could be that horrible to another but it's kind of harsh to call the writer trash just for this unwelcome development. I mean, you still have to respect the comedy in it and some of the plot elements. It's possible these pointless love triangles were added to provide conflict in a drama with a light plot line.

agreed. I normally have a serious second lead syndrome problem but my ship ain't sailing for this one. It's depressing because he had alot of potential.

i agree, I feel like its just going around in circles to the point where i'm starting to get confused. there were times where I thought, 'whats with the big revelation moment? I could have swore she already knew that.' I really wish they'd throw us something new to the plotline
