I just realized that SJ remembering all the timelines is like him time traveling to the future to be with her.
Also I bet he loves her even more now than before because he can remember all that she has done for him.

I figured TS would be key in keeping SJ alive…. and he was!

I have met people, full grown adults, just as naive or more so than FML in Real Life. I remember trying to explain to one girl how to spot a scam because she had been conned recently, her response was a shocked “you mean people actually lie to you to steal money??? Why???” She had the hardest time wrapping her head around the concept of purposefully deceiving someone. And as much as her lack of street smarts frustrated me… it did make me think how much better the world would be if everyone was like her.

Yeah, I don’t like that hate. I personally think that with the knowledge she has about the situation and her trauma, she has been incredibly brave and smart.

I think since most of us are looking at the events from the outside we can see her actions clearly, but if we had in that exact situation as her, I’m not sure we would be any better.
No the killer is not a time traveler, but I think he is smart… how else was he able to get away with his murders before Sol?

So after watching the second ep, I am warming up to the show. FML is starting to feel cute to me. But I feel so bad with everyone stepping on her because she is very kind and sweet. I am glad she is going to try and stand up for herself against those trying to walk all over herself.
But I am getting the feeling the ML likes her way more than just teacher respect… he is casing his like around “respect for teacher”…. And he is going already way beyond that in doing little things to take care of her.

Sol is all SJ cares about. He is a complete doormat when it comes to her. What is Pride when it comes to her?

Agree, Sol I think would be at peace personally if she sacrificed her legs for his life. But I can see that SJ may have a time travel of his own to help her… so we have tosee

Agree, the previews are really well done, they don’t give away what will actually happen. So far they have been very misleading.

I think it was only there to set the tone and to grab the viewers attention. There may be a similar situation in the future, but not that exact scene… but I could be wrong.

I will say that I do appreciate that they did show why the ML could possibly like her.
She had shown him respect, kindness and acceptance when everyone else did not when he was young. The fact he went out of his way to give her flowers when she was feeling down because she said it would help her stop crying shows what an impression she made on him. You don’t do that for a teacher that was nice….i bet he had a bit of a crush on her then.

This is most definitely a drama that has a rough start. Not the best of intros for the FML for sure. But I am going to give it 4 episodes before deciding, see how the characters settle first.

The drama that had the closest triangle that we see here was in "protect the boss". Totally made you think it was going down the traditional triangle route, but then threw a curve ball at you.

I feel you. But with how much a loser SJ is for Sol, I am pretty sure he is going to make sure he can be together with her no matter what career he has.
The man clearly can't live without Sol.

I can understand your feelings, particularly since we know how much he struggled in the past with depression.
But I don't think he hated his career as an idol, I do think he liked it to a degree. But it clearly isn't what he lives for, which is Sol.
After the second time jump, their promise to meet in the future kept him from becoming mentally unwell and took better care of himself.
Now that he knows she is from the future and loves him. The man is going to prepare for her to be in his life.
I can see him prepping fans from the beginning and being like, "I am already taken, she is the love of my life" or even setting things up so they can be together in 2023. I mean he has already started the face masks so he can look good for his Sol in 15 years, 😂.
But with how dedicated he has shown his love for her to be, he would make sure they could be together.

I love how in cloud nineSJ is right now. But he looks absolutely determined to get her back in 2023.

I loved how desparate SJ was to clear up everything....can't have his future in-laws not liking him.

I get a kick on how TS is like "we are besties now" being kind of clingy with him, while SJ is still in denial.

My cousin is 6'7" and his wife is barely 5'2". They joke she looks like his child when they hold hands and she has to stand on chairs and boxes sometimes for pictures so they can be in the same frame...

True, and maybe he has...but the writers are not focused on that as he is not the main point of the story. Thus his backstory and motivation are mainly a mystery and we the viewers must deduce or make up a reason for his behavior for him.
