So the new guy is her not actually dead husband. Oh boy, that is going to be a mess that needs to be cleaned up. I can see that he isn‘t a bad person and he actually seems to feel bad for her. But our bickering couple are still my OTP. But the boy is already a goner for her, hook, line and sinker…. He just isn’t ready to quite admit it to anyone. She is finally starting to show the signs of liking him. But with her being single for so long then having so much interaction with fine young single man… any red blooded female would be thirsting for him. LOL
interesting. I guess it's just all perspective. I thought her expression during the scene is like a kid wanting…
lol, amazing how perception can be different when watching the same thing. Thanks for sharing your insight on the FML. 🙂 But agree with all that Miles really leveled up with this drama. Like, WOW! All in all, he should be getting better projects after this. At least I hope so.
So now on ep 16 and I am LOVING our ML, he is really carrying the show with his performance here. The FML though…. I am half -half on her performance. There are moments when she just hits it out of the park. And then others where she is very flat or expressionless. Like the scene where he saved her from being attacked at the clothing store. You could feel the rage of seeing her hurt from the ML. But the FML did not give the impression of someone in shock after being attacked and relieved to see him. She couldn’t capture the emotion then. But in the scene where they are in front of her door having their heart to heart, boy did she nail it. So my impression is that she is still immature with her acting, she hasn’t learned how to express all emotions yet. This doesn’t make her a bad actress, just wet around the ears. She should improve over time. But for now the ML will clearly carry it all, but I think it helps that he actually seems to like the actress he is working with.
I started watching this drama yesterday with the intention to watch the first episode as a preliminary just to…
I ❤️ hidden love!!! But I do agree that this show is good and I do think that the FL is actually well written. But some of her actions rub me the wrong way mainly because I have a timid nature and am not that bold like TX. But her actions do fit for the bold and kind of brash character that she is.
I just finished ep 7. I finally see an FL with a backbone. She knows how to love herself more than she likes the…
I think rather than clueless, he was actually in denial and didn’t want to admit it. But I will say he didn’t realize how much he liked her till she started to pull away and leave him. This is kick starting him into doing something about it and stop being so passive like he has been.
ikr I didn’t even get the vibe that he likes TX until his colleague pointed it out on ep7. From the start, it…
I can understand if you missed his interest earlier on as he played it super super subtle. I only caught it because I knew what to look for. It was in little things he did like how he was always reading, liking and pondering over her social posts, looking at her from his office window, how at the gym he purposely found her and then didn't get annoyed with her pestering about him being the producer. Also he played along when she pushed her way to ride in his car and didn't get upset when it was exposed, but he subtly teased her and made her squirm. It really showed the most with the cat. He had promised it to his sister, but gave it to TX instead. Infact he was very yolerent of her antics and it was mention in the drama thathad she done this to any other boss, it would not have been tolerated.
Yeah, he did lead her along by being ambiguous, but her attacking him, her boss, with a frenchkiss like that in…
I think part of it is a cultural difference and poor choice made by the director/writer. My guess is they did it that way for shock value and views. But the rest of the drama is good other than that part in my opinion.
I agree, I think she’s being cold because of the embarrassment she’s feeling. I know I would if I were her.…
If you take her words literally, like he did, that was a terrible response, I agree. But I think she was saying it playfully, in a flirty way, like a joke or how you flirt and was never meant to be taken seriously at all. But like the ML, we are taking her very literally. See how she smiled at him while saying it and we can see She was flirting. Now while this would have worked on the Mal's friend who is familiar with these techniques, the ML, like us, are not and took them at face value. It is actually an interesting misunderstanding they created here.
Soo the ML like the FL best friend or not??? Or he just pretend to??
my impression was that he really didn't care much other than she was "suitable" and they were "compatible". Which is why he seems contradictory as he came to secretly fall for Tang Xin, but rejects her because she isn't "suitable" or "compatible" in his mind. This is such a Mr. Darcy thing he is doing. "She not handsome enough to temp me!" Crap he is pulling here.
Guys please remember consent is MOST IMPORTANT. (Ep1-Ep5- review)Yes it's good that the fl is bold and confident…
Yeah, he did lead her along by being ambiguous, but her attacking him, her boss, with a frenchkiss like that in his office after he already turned her down....in real life I would consider sexual assault! If it hadn't been in his office, but at his home, and they had built up the sexual tension up before hand where you could feel him liking her but resisting and they just pulled together due to the chemistry, and then she just arruptly left leaving him perplexed at what just happened and what did he just do...that would have been better in my opinion. 🙂
FL is acting coldly probably she is still embarassed actually lol 😭 both leads are in the phase when they need…
How she reacted to his rejection is very much how I would have...though I would be more cold and nice rather than throw barbs like she did. But she is in hedgehog phase. She is super vulnerable, but doesn't want him to know and is this overreacting.
Like most, I wasn't thrilled with how she confessed, but after seeing his friends reaction, I have a better understanding. Part of it is a cultural difference, the other part is an exaggeration of the difference between men and women. He is very literal, she is speaks between the lines and indirectly. Like she mentioned in EP 6, had he read the book back when she gave it to him, he would have known much sooner her feelings. His friend, the VP, who is familiar with women, caught on right way that wasn't the real reason she liked him. He could tell she was obviously lying. He even explains that her confessing was hard enough for her and she had no idea if he would accept, she had have some buffer. But how she talked appears to be culturally related, as I have seen girls in asian countries say things that are more "push and pull" cause girls aren't supposed to reveal their cards. Most western countries, like USA, value frankness in women more than being demure or elusive. This does not mean she did the right thing, but sheds light on why she did that.
Was it just me or does anyone else kind of feel like Ryu Jin is a closet gay? Maybe it is just the way he is played, but it has kind of come across to me that way. So I don't see him as a potential lead at this point...but that could change in the upcoming episodes. But overall, after watching 3 episodes, I think that Dae Oh is the father, but I don't think at this point that he will get back together with Ae Jung, he has a whole lot of growing up to do. And with the petty stuff he has pulled, he has a lot to make up for....however, other than being the father of Hana, I am wondering what exactly he did that has everyone saying that he took everything from her. I think it was more than just getting her pregnant and "leaving" her. Plus, Ae Jung doesn't seem the kind of girl along with her mom to just let a guy get her pregnant and not tell him unless she had a pretty compelling reason. And based on her mothers reaction, it seems to be good enough for her to agree. But I think that Yeon Woo is the most likely lead to get the girl in the end. Out of all four of them, he has been the only one who has been emotionally supportive of her and shows all indications of having a potential healthy relationship. Which is what she needs more than anything along with her daughter during this time. While he may appear flat to others, he could, in my opinion make her happy...and out of all of them, he is already doing so, in making her smile when the others are making her angry or scaring the crap out of her. Goo Da Po is a possible second, however, I think he first needs to help her stop being scared of him or feeling threatened. He is not going to get anywhere with her until then.
But our bickering couple are still my OTP.
