I actually enjoyed the first episode a lot more than I expected. It's so much more mature than other GMM shows, not only in terms of intimacy but also concerning the plot and the characters. it all seems very real; the actors are all very decent and their characters are not overdone. I hope it stays that way and doesn't get carried away. But so far I really love it!! :)
I'm getting a bit tired of all this negative trash talk on here tbh. Yes, they're facing problems and yes it sucks that Korn cheated blah blah we get it. But these issues are neither far fetched, nor unreasonable or inappropriate. Issues like miscommunication, coming out to the parents, family pressure etc. are very much real-life-problems that every other couple has to face. Some manage to conquer them together, Korn and Knock apparently don't. Which is why they seem so out of character. Not because the writers "ruined" the characters smh. The reality is sometimes far from what most people seem to be excepting, which the fanfiction scene in ep 1 transported perfectly btw; it definitely set the right tone for the show. I'm curious how most of the people hating on the show would've written it if they had the choice. I would much rather watch a series where the main couple is facing realistic problems and eventually conquering them instead of living in a fantasy rainbow-world. You can hate on me for this, I don't care I just wanna defend what definitely doesn't deserve so much hate.
Never in a billion years did I think that I'd be here sobbing uncontrollably over TinCan when I really couldn't stand them in the beginning lol how the tables have turned
You are giving this a bad review for a bunch of 'you' in the first episode? Seriously??? Yes the fangirling thing…
THANK YOU for this, I completely agree. People are being whiny just bc they didn't get what they want. I really liked the first episode, especially how they put that first scene in contrast to what the reality looks like, which is not all rainbows and cotton candy, go figure...
