Goodness, it's so true when they say corruption fears righteous the most. I know I think and say this every episode, but Han Se Kwon, oh my Han Se Kwon; he's not just a weasel, but corrupt, unscrupulous, irresponsible, shameless, and weak. But more than him, how Ja Yeong acts now that she knows; is what matters most. Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act as they say. Nothing beats this drama.
I like that this drama brings another side to how it's okay not to be okay until it's not and how dangerous it can get when those who are not okay do not get the help they need before they reach their breaking point.
Sometimes one knows what they're getting into isn't the real thing; nevertheless, they are helpless to prevent it from happening. It's so true when they say some people are destined to be meet each other but not destined to be together. It's so true. At the beginning of this, I was more interested in Yoon Sol and Ji Wan's story s than I ever was of Nabi and Jae Eon 4 episodes in I find myself more involved in Nam Kyu Hyun and Oh Bit Na. I like Nam Kyu Hyun a lot for not being scared of saying what he really wants out loud, even if it meant losing the very thing he wants. Ji Wan's behavior, on the other hand, is starting to make me wonder why Sol even cares, but then no one has control over who they love. I doubt Ji Wan even knows why she's behaving the way she does. I like Do Hyuk; the way he talks is so soothing. I hope he becomes a strong contender.
In a drama set in a dystopian society, there won’t be too many laughs nor a big romance, if any. The bulk of…
I agree with you and I wonder if Yo Han's emotional detachment be it his inability or unwillingness to connect with others on an emotional level is related directly to his childhood, that he may be suffering from post-traumatic disorder.
There is more to this drama than first meet the eye. I like that. I enjoy all the actors in this drama, but I love Seo Hyun Jin; she's my favorite Korean actress. I'll watch anything she's in; I've yet to see her pick a bad project. On the other hand, there's something extraordinary about how Kim Dong Wook acts immediately draws me to his dramas. It may be in his tone or the way he speaks or expressiveness; whatever it is, I always find myself watching him, and this one isn't any different. As for Nam Gyu Ri, it's tough not to like her in everything she does. I love their rooftop. I want one just like that. I enjoyed the first episode. I can tell this is going to be good. It has a little of everything, comedy, drama, suspense, and romance.
