Agreed. And especially with a genre like rom com, its easy to overlook these characters and their motivations. Because you know, we're in for the fun and games. Which is why I love Bad Buddy so much, because as simple as the plot may be (or as tropey as it might seem even), the characters are very well-written and very relatable and down to earth. For Pran, he's like an onion where at first you might not understand why he's behaving that way, but if you peel him open, you will see a lot of hurt and scars from his past. I just hope that people will not focus so much about what he "didn't do" (in their opinion) but what he actually did.
