It's all down to personal preference but I think it's one of the best shows this year and it's very well liked (apart from a very loud minority) so you should definitely tune in :) Yin and War worked super hard for us to make this show and it really does show, so even if it's not your cup of tea, I'm sure you can appreciate the love and care they put into it anyway
That doesn't mean what Joke did was "wrong", he wasn't thinking clearly when it had something to do with the one he loved. He wanted to free Jack so they could finally have a normal life, that's the only thing he took into consideration. Joke obviously didn't want all these bad things to happen because of the decision he made, and it wasn't even just Joke, everyone was in on it. Joke obviously feels really guilty about the chain reaction of events. Jack is the more rational one and he was already having an awful day so finding out that on top of everything else, your partner was a big cause of it and they lied/broke their promise... I am not surprised by his outburst.

it could be one of those hinted at things in the last episode that shows do sometimes? but it doesn't seem like we'll get any real development from them at this point
I know this show is objectively not that good, I even rated it fairly low myself, but I can't say I didn't have a good time binging it. Just for a feel good and light hearted break from every other objectively bad show released this year (seriously what is going on?)
Seeing a lot of people saying this isn't BL just because it's lacking "romantic scenes" or they haven't kissed yet which is definitely.. a take. Romance can be showed in a lot more ways than kiss and love scenes. Saying that just because Jack called Joke "family" that suddenly means you're getting a bromance. It's not hard to read between the lines and find the subtext. The way they care about eachother is already very intimate, there's plenty of tension there. Their bond is undoubtedly very strong. I feel like you guys are here for the wrong reasons (just to see men make out) and don't actually care about the fact the show isn't all about their relationship but actually touches on social issues, inequality when it comes to poverty and wealth and how both sides act due to their financial backgrounds. There's plenty of other brainless shows you can watch just to see people kiss or find NC scenes. Going around saying it's not a BL just because it's a slow burn and doesn't fit your standards is a very weird take and comes across more like you just want to fetishize them. You can critique the show for literally anything else and have your own opinions about it but denying its genre is just a little unserious to me.

Ah, you again. I'm not a die hard YinWar stan (BKPP & FKT are my mains), I can just appreciate good actors in an industry where that is... lacking, to say the least. Nor did I say it was gold, it's not even my top drama this year, I'm simply just enjoying the show. You're being very embarrassing acting this way, I truly cannot fathom why you'd put so much effort into something you supposedly hate.

No one is more worked up over this than you, I can promise you that. You're a very small minority in the overwhelmingly positive reviews of the show so far, so you're absolutely not making anyone miserable.

Stating your opinion and being hateful are two very different things. You claim you don't have the time to hate on a "trash show" but you've been here for hours doing exactly that. It's a little embarrassing spending so much time and energy on something you don't even like.
Also the target audience is BL lovers to an extent, sure. But if you don't like the tropes/themes then why would you start watching it anyway? If it isn't something you like, which you've made very clear it isn't, then you can just drop the show and move on with your day. It's very simple.
