weird romance and strange storyline ( all about drinking coffe and apple )

“Such a Weird Romance” left me disappointed overall. The storyline felt boring, and the dialogue was plain and uninspired, making it difficult to stay engaged. The only reason I pushed myself to finish it was Kentaro Sakaguchi, Unfortunately, even his performance couldn’t save the drama , it was a struggle. Unless you’re a devoted fan of the cast, this series doesn’t offer much to keep you entertained.

Overall, Such a Weird Romance is a disappointing It’s a drama that feels like it’s trying to be different but ends up being so bad, this is one series I wouldn’t recommend. For those looking for love story, there are far better options out there.

Kitchen for Singles is a heartwarming and insightful mini-series

Kitchen for Singles is a heartwarming and insightful mini-series that celebrates the art of cooking and finding joy in everyday moments, especially for those living alone. With its emphasis on simplicity and self-care, it’s no wonder that this show had such a powerful impact on me.

After watching this series, I felt inspired in ways I didn't expect. It’s not just about food—it’s about appreciating life in all its little details. The series taught me how to embrace solitude, enjoy the process of cooking for one, and find happiness in creating something small and meaningful for myself. It encourages you to slow down, savor the moment, and realize that every experience—whether it’s a quiet meal or a shared laugh—is valuable.

For someone who’s always rushing through life, this series was a reminder to stop and smell the garlic. It made me think more mindfully about the food I prepare and eat and motivated me to start my own YouTube channel. I now share my cooking experiences and celebrate the joy of small moments in life, inspired by the way the show made me appreciate the beauty in simplicity.

The show also made me look at food in a new light, urging me to experiment in the kitchen and savor every bite, rather than just eating out of convenience. And honestly, after watching it, I’ve never enjoyed a meal more—whether cooking for myself or sharing with others.

In conclusion, Kitchen for Singles isn’t just a show about cooking; it’s about learning to love life, embrace your independence, and enjoy the small joys that make life meaningful. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for inspiration to slow down, cook more, and truly live in the moment.

Mr. Plankton Wow, what a ride! I’m honestly going to miss this drama soooo much

"this is my first time writing a review after watching a drama, usually, I just write short comments "

Wow, what a ride! I’m honestly going to miss this drama soooo much! 😭 I’m already calling it—*Mr. Plankton* is THE BEST of dramas of 2025

The acting? Amazing! The cast truly nailed their roles, bringing such depth and authenticity to each character. From the start to the very end, their performances were a highlight, making you feel every single emotion alongside them.

The storyline? Absolutely gripping. It’s one of those dramas that you just can’t stop watching. There’s the perfect balance of friendship, family, and love, which kept things fresh and engaging throughout. Every episode kept you on your toes, and I found myself completely invested in the characters' journeys.

I wish I could rate this drama more than just 10/10! Honestly, it’s that good. The connections between the characters felt so real, and the way they navigated through challenges together—whether as friends or family—was incredibly heartwarming. You can't help but root for them the entire time.
only the last minute of the drama. was sad but beautiful

If you’re thinking of starting *Mr. Plankton*, just do it! Trust me, you’ll enjoy every bit of it. It’s one of those shows that you just have to experience for yourself.

Spirit Fingers is one of those K-dramas that feels like opening a brand-new sketchbook

This drama revolves around eight art lovers who meet regularly to paint together. Every time they gather, there’s a new theme, new colors, new emotions, and honestly, the group feels like a little magical world of creativity.
The story follows a shy, unsure girl who suddenly gets the chance to join this group. Being with them helps her grow, gain confidence, glow up, and discover who she really is. And of course… she finds love along the way — soft, warm, and artistic love, the kind that feels like watercolor on paper.
And let’s talk about Cho Jun-young.
He is the quiet highlight of the entire series. His acting is soft but magnetic, the kind of performance that makes you want to pause the episode and say, “Where have you been hiding?” He plays his role with sincerity, charm, and a very grounded sweetness. After this drama, you definitely want to see him in more projects, preferably as a male lead.
It’s perfect for anyone who loves creativity, self-discovery, warm romance, and characters who slowly grow into themselves.

Love, Healing, and Hop

I watched this movie many years ago, but it’s still one that I can’t forget. The story is emotional and heartwarming, showing how two people with painful pasts find comfort and hope in each other. It’s not just about romance, it’s about healing, second chances, and the courage to keep moving forward.

What really stayed with me was the feeling: some scenes broke my heart, while others filled me with warmth and hope. It’s the kind of film that makes you reflect on love, sacrifice, and the beauty of simple moments in life.

And of course, one of the main reasons I loved it even more is Yokohama Ryusei. He is one of my favorite Japanese actors, and his performance in this movie was so sincere and touching. He brought so much depth to the character, making the story even more powerful.

Even though I don’t remember every detail after all these years, I remember how it made me feel: inspired, emotional, and truly moved. If you want to watch a Japanese movie that stays with you long after the credits roll, this is one I’d recommend.

Perfect Days -Transforms ordinary moments into something extraordinary

I watched Perfect Days on my flight to Spain, and it felt like the perfect companion for a long journey above the clouds. This Japanese film is slow, meditative, and beautifully simple, yet every frame holds a quiet depth. It follows Hirayama, a public toilet cleaner in Tokyo, whose life is made up of small rituals: watering plants, listening to cassette tapes, reading books, and noticing light and shadows.
The magic is in how the film transforms these ordinary moments into something extraordinary. There’s no rush, no dramatic explosions, just a gentle reminder that happiness can live in the smallest details. The cinematography is stunning, the soundtrack is soulful, and the lead performance is so genuine that you almost forget you’re watching an actor.
By the time the credits rolled, I felt strangely calm and inspired, as if the film had given me permission to slow down and truly notice life. It’s not just a movie, it’s a quiet meditation on joy, routine, and the beauty of now.

A Gentle Tapestry of Lives Intertwined

Call Me Chihiro is a quiet, emotional, and deeply human film, one that trades dramatic plot twists for the slow bloom of connection. Directed by Rikiya Imaizumi and based on Hiroyuki Yasuda’s manga Chihiro-san, it follows Chihiro (Kasumi Arimura), a former sex worker now working at a seaside bento shop. She moves through her days with warmth, openness, and an almost ethereal calm, touching lives without ever forcing her presence.
Chihiro’s story is less about her transformation and more about the lives she brushes against:
The Old Homeless Man – a solitary figure who receives Chihiro’s quiet compassion, reminding us how dignity can be restored with a simple act of kindness.
The Shy Teenage Girl – her admirer, who looks up to Chihiro’s independence and unconventional grace, finding courage in her example.
The Lonely Young Boy – often seen eating alone, who slowly opens up when Chihiro shares meals with him, filling an emotional gap in his life.
The Neglected Child, whose difficult home life makes Chihiro’s small gestures of care feel like rare moments of safety.
The Elderly Blind Woman – who forms a tender bond with Chihiro, their conversations marked by trust and mutual understanding.
Her Former Boss – a reminder of Chihiro’s past, yet their exchanges are laced with respect and unspoken history.
Hints of Chihiro’s wounds, a scar, her distance from family, and her muted reaction to her mother’s death run beneath the surface, giving her an enigmatic depth.
Kasumi Arimura’s performance is a masterclass in subtlety: layered, restrained, and magnetic. The film’s quiet pacing, lingering shots of the sea, and ambient sound design create a space where every pause feels intentional, every glance weighted.
Call Me Chihiro isn’t a story you watch for answers; it’s one you sit with, letting its gentle ripples stay with you like the memory of a soft tide.

good people don’t always win, bad people don’t always die

Okay, Dear X” was honestly one of the strongest thrillers of 2025.
Every week, I was counting down for the new episode, and that finale… that cliffhanger was cruel in the best way. We still don’t know what truly happened to Baek A-Jin, and that unanswered mystery is exactly why this drama hits so hard. A-Jin is alive, and her story is far from over.
Season 2 feels almost inevitable.
This drama was sharp, emotional, and twisted, and it was so well-written. Even if we never get Season 2, the message is powerful:
Good people don’t always win, bad people don’t always die, and everyone, good or bad, must live with the consequences of their choices.
Kim Jae-O’s ending made perfect sense.

He spent his whole life carrying childhood trauma that shaped his twisted mind, and in the end, his final moment wasn’t happiness; it was dark acceptance. He sacrificed himself for A-Jin and died. It was his tragic way of finding closure, becoming exactly what his painful past shaped him to be

Jun-Seo’s mother also had one of the worst endings. She didn’t get peace at all. She fell down the stairs right after receiving a letter from her son, a letter in which he finally cut ties and ended their toxic cycle. And Jun-Seo’s suffering since childhood came directly from her behaviour, shaping the broken man he became.

A-Jin’s husband now has to keep living his life knowing she’s still alive, and that truth is destroying him from the inside.
He can’t sleep, he can’t breathe normally, and no matter how much he tries to move on, the fear and guilt follow him everywhere. He knows she’s out there… and that knowledge is its own kind of punishment.

Yun Jun-Seo was the most heartbreaking character for me.
He loved A-Jin deeply, yet he carried a lifetime of guilt on his shoulders. That guilt started when he was a child and never left him. He truly believed his mother ruined her life, and that belief shaped every decision he made.
In the end, he thought he could end his life together with A-Jin, choosing a tragic escape from the pain he carried. But fate betrayed him: he died, while she survived.

Sim Seung-Hui was another walking disaster. Her ending in the hospital felt like karma arriving on time.

She was the lucky one…
She’s still alive somewhere, unfinished, unpredictable, one of the strongest reasons this drama needs Season 2.
But if Season 2 happens?
Baek A-Jin’s return will be pure chaos… and I’m ready.

Love Untangled is a movie that gives you a warm, good feeling and a little nostalgic

At first, I wasn’t sure about the male lead; his character felt a bit flat, but as the story unfolded, his acting truly impressed me. He brought out the emotions of friendship, love, and growth in a genuinely heartfelt way.

Shin Eun Soo was the main reason I started watching, and she didn’t disappoint. Her performance was heartfelt and natural, making the story feel warm and relatable.

What really touched me was how the MOVIE captured the beauty of youth, that stage in life where friendships are pure, love feels new and unforgettable, and every small moment shines. It reminded me that sometimes the best parts of life are the simple joys of being young, free, and in love.

A sweet, healing drama that leaves you smiling and a little nostalgic.
