The way he listened to Ji An’s deep fake voice, he knows that Babylon is involved that’s why he faked his own death to make them come out from their hideout and to make Ji An came back to the house. Otherwise, they could’ve killed Ji An when she’s in Seoul where less protection for her. This is also his way to filter those pretenders who supposed to obey the code rules and protect green code, but they betrayed him. All of them was killed during the fight.
But I think they will explain more in S2 the reason and how did he fake his death, I guess. While Ji An was fighting with SeungJo and the rest of killers, Jin Man was on a fight with Bale and the general Yo Han. This is my assumption based on how he looked like when he’s back.

I don’t see where is Tae Oh heading with his plan because he still doesn’t have power and just being a “dog” to the chaebol family, while In Ha is just plain annoying with his victim mindset and lack of sense of loyalty. I think he did it on purpose on the negotiation trick to warn Tae Oh that he’s above him, and no matter what he did, he’s the bloodline and the blame would go to Tae Oh. Now that Chairman is slowly acknowledging him, he doesn’t see the need to keep Tae Oh on his side.
Overall, the storyline is a mess. Nothing interesting happening and the time slip here and there is so annoying.

I just can’t root for the lead couple at the moment because of Do Han. I know there will be no romantic relationship between DH & AJ, but I just don’t want their friendship to be potentially ruin because of JH.
And please JH, grow up! What he did so far is so childish like when he helped AJ to get the role in the drama, tried to seduce AJ, set her up w/ someone else like didn’t he think of what would happen next?? He always messed things up and then apologized later. He talked shit behind her back. He’s such a 🚩so far. I just hope that he will have a character development in the next episodes to make me root for him because atm, I just don’t see how and why AJ would wanna date him if they ever get together in the future.
I like how Do Han confronted Ji Han and told JH that he made him feel suffocated. Honestly, I would too if I’ve little brother like JH.
