There might be burner accounts rating this drama high, but I think you can see that there are a lot of people enjoying this drama. Don’t think too much about ratings because honestly, 8.4 rating is not that high anyway. Just watch those dramas you find interesting, I guess.
I think there are also large number of users like me who only rate dramas once I’ve completed watching it. Most of the time, MDL rating will be more stable for complete dramas than ongoing ones.

As much as I hate those users who rate 1/10 for only 1-2 episodes, I also hate those users giving 10/10 and use burners to play around with the ratings. I don’t particularly use MDL rating for me to start watching a drama, but I do want good dramas getting the ratings it deserved just like boring/bad drama getting low ratings as it should.
