People judging ML for being a simp, a loser and unrealistic just because he seems like he hasn’t moved on.
We don’t know their back story, the real reason for their break up and people already judge them? From the brief flashbacks, it seems like there are two break ups. And what if the second clip is their last straw and we all saw how Sam Dal broke down and begging Yong Pil, and he didn’t even go to her. If this is their last moment, it kinda makes sense for Sam Dal to move on (did she really tho as all her relationships didn’t work out), dating other people because in her pov, Yong Pil dumped her. As for Yong Pil, he might feel guilty on how he treated her and mind you that they’ve a long history, they’d been together from childhood & best friends. Maybe that’s the reason Yong Pil hasn’t really moved on and not dating anyone. He might also feel that he doesn’t deserve to love anyone after what he did to Sam Dal. Like there are tons of possibilities, reasons that writer hasn’t showed yet. And people already judge his character?
Slice of life drama has always been predictable as it should. It’s all about the process and journey, so if you want plot twist and mind blowing drama, sorry to break to you that this drama won’t give you that. Read the synopsis, it’s already stated loud and clear where this drama is heading.
Romantic... or stalking. Depends on perspective. Would you be swept off your feet if your ex of 8 years suddenly…
Before they were ex, they were best friends. Of couse he’s worried about her and wants to give support. Even other friends are worried but they don’t have her number to ask how is she
Wait so who broke up with who? Ep 2 made it seem like it was different break up decisions?
I think there were two break ups. First, Sam Dal asking for it then Yong Pil was the one dumping her. Yong Pil’s friend mentioned that both of them fell in love and he followed her to Seoul right? Something must have happened in Seoul before she went to study abroad.
This is my kind of drama 🫶🏻 It’s been a while since we have a normal slice of life drama with no fantasy nor historical past-life. Love every minutes of this drama
Warning : Don't watch "Ep 0". You will see a synopsis of the first few eps! A bit annoying....
I accidentally did this earlier on because I started this drama late and I was surprised with the quality like why the cuts were so odd. Then only I realized I watched the recap ep instead. I had to rewatch ep 1-4 properly
MDL is being unnecessarily complicated by seperating the page of this drama to part 1 and part 2 just because Netflix decided to release the other 3eps two weeks after the first 7eps release on 22 Dec.
I keep track of my number of dramas watched here, with the page being separated and count as two dramas, it makes my completed dramas watched being inaccurate and I hate that.
There is no ost maybe because in the last season there were many comments upon how the songs doesn’t match with…
really? who commented that because the OSTs are really good. Even Imagine Dragons song is fitting well. I see a lot of people comment that they miss having that song
Another thing that I find this season is lacking of is the OST. ‘Side by Side’ by BewhY was really hyping up the drama last time and I saved it in my playlist as my workout song. This season we have no good OST at all, almost to none like I can’t remember any song that caught my ears.
I think it’s kinda expected since S1? I had that feeling last time and this season kinda confirms it.
are you saying that Ui Myeong is MH1?
MH1 is Sang Won, he was being experimented. His lifeless body was there. If I’m not mistaken, in S1 there’s a scene that the blood parasite/liquid moster entered one of the researcher’s body which is Ui Myeong’s body previously and we don’t know the his name is really Ui Myeong or Ui Myeong is the researcher’s name. Most of viewers suspected that it was actually Sang Won that became liquid monster because we all know that he’s involved with the experiment. This also kinda explain why the liquid monster was saying to Dr Lim that he forgot what he did to his friend. Dr Lim couldn’t figure out why MH1 was not showing any signal and he intubated MH1 in the early episodes, maybe because MH1 is the liquid parasite monster?
you keep posting here. first season had people with prosthetics, season2 has budget for cgi monsters
I think for me the issue is not about cgi vs prosthetics. What this season lack of is the individuality of the monsters like we had so many different monsters in S1 and some with backstories, but in this season, some scenes just showed similar monsters that look like robots especially whenever the soldiers are outside.
Don’t get me wrong btw, I love this season too and I gave 9/10 rating.

the visuals in this drama are just chef’s kiss. Nana is so gorgeous and Jang Dong Yoon is handsome as always.

the monsters were more interesting in S1

Here is the link someone explaining how S2 revealed that it was Sang Won all along: https://screenrant.com/sweet-home-season-2-ending-explained/#:~:text=Sweet%20Home's%20Ui%2Dmyeong%20Was%20Sang%2Dwon%20All%20Along&text=One%20of%20the%20biggest%20reveals,was%20conducting%20experiments%20on%20him.
