Heesun participated in other shows and we could see total different vibe in her. She’s more cheerful and outgoing. Even in recent promotion, she vibes differently and could joke about Min Gee’s iconic line. I guess she just felt out of place in SI during the filming and it’s first time that she wasn’t chosen by anyone (no postcard, no paradise). Netflix always curated the show into a storyline and they’ve decided that Mina Sue is the main character of this season, so more than 50% of screentime is with her though her conversation with Sung Hun is pretty much repetitive. This is why we couldn’t see other contestants then viewers just labelled those with less screentime like Heesun and Hyun Jae as “boring”.

My original comment is just to tell some viewers who’re frustrated at Heesun not talking to other guys to clarify to them that she did talk. We could see short footages of her having conversations and both parties are laughing but Netflix just focused on Mina Sue instead.

Yes I like her too. I thought she’d be the mean girl with that face card (same with Go Eun), but turned out she’s just sweet and shy girl. She always subtlely cares about other people by giving others food first (not only to Subeen, but to Hyun Jae, Hyun Woo and to the girls) and always ask people about their experience in paradise and how’s that person. We’ve seen just glimpse of her talking to Hyun Jae, Jae Jin, Hyun Woo and I Geon. All of it is cut and Netflix portrayed her as lonely girl who stucks with Subeen only.

Some viewers be like Heesun is lying about not having a jacket since she’s been wearing Subeen’s when she was wearing the white one on second day and pink one on ep 7. I’m pretty convinced she’s not lying because she not only said that to Subeen but also said it to other girls that she’s been wearing it because she doesn’t have one though she isn’t sure about Subeen’s feelings about her. And after rewatching, I noticed that white hoodie she’s wearing on second day is on Min Gee’s bed, so Min Gee might be lending hers to Heesun and we could also see that Min Gee has been wearing Seung Il’s hoodie. This also makes sense when Min Gee said “no” to Mina Sue when she said something like she dislikes seeing other girl wearing Subeen’s jacket because she knows that Heesun doesn’t have one and Subeen is the quiet type and only talk to people whom he finds comfortable. So yeah Heesun could be borrowing the girls’ hoodie. She might not be prepared that it’d be cold in the island.

Guyss, I saw on tiktok a glimpse of Ye Jin x Sung Hoon holding hands and Ye Jin leaned on him during the campfire. And remember when Sung Hoon asked I Geon about Ye Jin? Idk if they’ll be underdog couple in the next episode that will shock people. We could see the 3 couples from the spoiler photos and people be like where’s Go Eun? And she might be in another group so there’s potentially another couple. When people were guessing the girl who went to paradise with Sung Hoon (because of his tattoo) and people be like it’s Mina or Heesun, but I’ve been feeling it’s Ye Jin because I liked her from the start so I think that’s her hair color. With the clip from the campfire, there might be something brewing over there that we’re not shown probably to give some suspense.

Don’t mind me, I just love having ghost ship and if it’s sailing properly, then I’d be proud of my theory 😆

You summarize it well on Sung Min. I don’t hate him one second. In fact, I love his interaction with Hyun Woo, though they’re sort of love rivalry, he still encourages Hyun Woo to go for Go Eun and they still can praise each other for having good game during the competition. I swear people are just attacking him for his look as he’s not the hot type like Hyun Woo or I Geon.

Netflix once again failed to understand the demand from viewers on giving balanced screentime for all contestants. Mina Sue may be full of drama and chaos at first, but her repeating the same thing over and over again to Sunghun about being friends and to other people that she fainted are so unnecessary. Viewers are tired of her.

Go Eun and I Geon had good pillow talk and it makes more sense why Go Eun is conflicted and how she’s worried when I Geon went on to talk to Ye Jin alone first because he said he’s interested with both of them and they had good talk together.

And it’s kinda nasty how Netflix KR is now using Min Gee x Seung Il and Hee Sun x Subeen clips for promotion because they know the demand now and they cut most of their moments together. 🙄 At this point, just release the clips of their conversations like for real.

I don’t see any problem if he still chooses Mina at the end. As much as I love Heesun and dislike Mina, it’s his choice. This feels like Dex and Nadine last time in S2 when people ship both of them and mad at Dex for choosing Seulki and she chose someone else. It’s really up to him though to choose the person he’s more drawn into throughout the show.

Well it’s up to viewers’ interpretation. I don’t see it as him using her nor he’s a bad person for giving his attention to Heesun. The next paradise is gonna determine a lot for the couples whether Subeen will still choose Mina or he’ll have change of heart. It’s also the same with Mina & Seungil if Mina will like Seungil more after this and if Seungil will still pick Min Gee as his first choice.

for the next paradise match, the guys made their choice on ticket and the girls have to mention their choice outside, if it’s matched then they go to paradise. So yeah both of them pick each other.

And it’s totally fine if he likes Mina more because she is his type and they went to paradise together, of course the time spent gave more impact. He’s just mad at how Mina treated him and they cleared it out with her saying sorry. But that doesn’t necessarily make him using Heesun. They’re in dating show, they can talk to people and get to know others freely.

This. I made similar comment about Subeen. He’s not using her to make Mina jealous. He said he wants to get to know her to other guys even before the campfire then he said to Mina he wants to get to know her better for now and that’s what he’s been doing. He just gave Mina cold shoulders because he’s mad at her. So far he did say to Heesun he has someone in mind to bring to paradise, even saying he needs to win the next game and hinting it’s to bring Heesun. I don’t see that he’s using her just because he’s giving his attention and care towards Heesun.

People on the internet after knowing Heesun’s background that she speaks English and Chinese too be like why didn’t she speak with Samuel (Sung Hun) and Hyun Jae? Well she did, in fact, she did speak to almost all the guys there, it’s just that Netflix decided to dedicate all the timescreen to Mina Sue drama.

Hee Sun and Ye Jin are my fav from first day so I watched them closely for any interaction. For Hee Sun, she did speak with Hyun Jae on the first day when they went to get the canned tuna. She also spoke with Samuel in the background when Mina Sue & Seungil were cooking egg, but Netflix decided to show Mina Sue instead. Then the next day, she had coffee date with Hyun Woo after pairing together during volleyball. She also had interaction Jae Jin when they’re in group setting (hence why I think she gave to him her gold choc).

She’s been actively asking about other people like how’s the paradise? How is the new girl? How’s the new guy? I think she’s the quiet but curious type and she’s introverted so she approached people slowly.

When I Geon came, she asked the girls who went to paradise with him, how is he? And she did intend to talk to him because when she went out, she said “annyeonghaseyo” and went one round to sit next to him when Subeen was standing nearby.

There’s also rumor that Heesun and Samuel actually have some mutuals and they probably already know each other so their conversation is more of acquaintances type of conversation, that’s why Netflix didn’t show it.

The photo is not upcoming scene. There’s few second shot they’re jusy walking and talking together then back to Mina Sue being jealous and she said to Sung Hun “what’s up with them?” something like that. This is giving Mina Sue is being insecure of Min Gee

Subeen did not choose Heesun in the next paradise because Mina Sue choose Seung Il. The matching rule this round is that the guys make their choice in the box first, then the girls will say the name of the person she wants to go with. If it’s matched, then they will go. So the order of the girl coming out calling name doesn’t even matter because it’s about matching with the guy’s ticket. If it’s by first come first serve, then it’s not fair for Mina Sue to get to say her choice first when there’s no game or whatsover.

So, Seung Il did put Mina Sue name and Subeen put Heesun name based on the spoiler photos match.

Yup, that’s why I don’t hate him and see him as using her. He’s still getting to know her. Heesun can give up on him if after the paradise, he’s still set on Mina Sue.

Let’s see, I’m also worried about her like what if she chose Sung Min or I Geon instead of Hyun Woo and they didn’t pick her. Because Hyun Woo is 💯 going to choose her.

It’s not yet confirmed if indeed Go Eun has no match from the photos itself. Idk there’s a possibility that there might be more couples so they’ve to split the group? It’s kinda bizzare if Go Eun didn’t go when she has 3 guys pursuing her.

I know people don’t like Subeen after his conversation with Mina Sue in ep 7, but I still have some good faith in him. He still has feelings towards Mina Sue, I don’t see this as issue because he’s interested in her first. It’s understandable that he’s giving her a cold shoulder because he’s mad at what happened during the campfire.

He clearly said to Mina Sue that he’s curious about Heesun after the photoshoot and wants to get to know her as well. So that’s what he has been doing. He also said to Heesun that he has someone in mind to bring to Paradise and hint that to her, so I think he’ll keep his words which we will see them going in next episode, bet.

I’m looking forward to their paradise moment together because Heesun maybe different in paradise setting compared to Inferno.

I don’t think people hate Mina Sue for going for all the guys and exploring options, it’s dating game. It’s about her personality, the way she rolled her eyes whenever other girls expressing their feelings to the guys and she trash talked about other girls not being appreciative of what she did, and painting Min Gee as scary and as if Min Gee didn’t allow her to talk to Seung Il when Min Gee told her that she could. And she also said Hee Sun is clinging onto Subeen and relied a lot on him, when if you watch closely, it’s Subeen who came to Heesun to talk to her and it’s Subeen who seeked Heesun’s attention when Heesun scooped rice for Hyun Woo. Heesun went to talk to I Geon instead and gave them space knowing Mina Sue wanted to talk to Subeen. Then Subeen was the one who asked Heesun if she had a good talk.

She’s also rude for dancing happily infront of Min Gee when Seungil asked for her, it’s like “haha your man wants to talk to me” and she’s also rude towards Hyun Jae when she said “what’s up with him” and called him cringe. Subeen quickly asked Joo Young what does she think about it? and JY replied she’s okay with it, to reduce the shame Hyun Jae must’ve felt when Mina Sue called him out like that. So yeah people don’t like her because she’s rude and annoying.
