Photo spoilers from a far showing Mina Sue, Joo Young, Heesun, SeungIl, Subin, and Hyun Jae walking to the helipad. It’s for the next paradise because Mina Sue is wearing the same red blouse as ending ep 7.

The couples would be:
Mina Sue x Seung Il
Heesun x Subin
Joo Young x Hyun Jae

I wonder where’s Go Eun 🤔either there will more couples so she’s with other group or she chose Sung Min or I Geon and they picked someone else.

I’m being nosy and I replayed that trailer scene multiple times and I think the girl’s voice and chuckles sound like Heesun 😅 But I don’t think the guy is Sung Hun, the line ‘F* this place’ could be voice overlay from other scene to make it dramatic and audiences think it’s Sung Hun because he’s the “american” boy so he should be wild. So I’m mentally prepared if that girl is indeed Heesun, I don’t see any issue of it if the feelings are mutual.

I just don’t like how Mina is saying things about Hee Sun & Su Been as if Hee Sun is the one who’s clinging on Su Been. That is the narrative she’s telling other people and the panels somehow follow her narrative. She said to Sung Hun that HS relied a lot of SB. During dinner, Heesun sat next to Hyunwoo and scooped rice for him and it’s Subeen who suddenly wanted to give Heesun soup to make Mina Sue jealous. And Subeen was the one who walked past Mina Sue and went to the room calling for Heesun. Even before that during the day, Subeen was the one making move talking to Heesun to make Mina Sue jealous while ignoring her.

Heesun could feel that Subeen doesn’t have feelings on her but just curiousity as he mentioned to her, so she’s giving space for them to talk. Mina Sue assumed that Heesun would go and talk to Subeen again, but turned out she went to talk to I Geon instead. After Subeen done talking to Mina Sue, Heesun didn’t really wait for Subeen and it’s Subeen who asked her if she had good talk with I Geon and Heesun just said that he went to toilet (indicating that they haven’t finished yet) then a footage of Heesun & Subeen talking again. During the game next day, we could see that Heesun distancing herself from Subeen.

I think she will still choose Subeen to go to paradise but let’s see if this is the time that they would match because from the trailer, the couple in the swimming pool look like them from the back.

I’m sorry but it does look like she’s seeking for attention instead 😅 because if she did faint, she would just rest in bed and wouldn’t even have energy to talk to Sung Hun and then Hyun Woo after that 😅

Idk what show it is, it’s just a clip of her and few other girls in the gym and Jung Kook from Running Man was there too, seems like he’s the coach to the girls and they’re talking about cheerleader team. Probably a show related to sport. In the show everyone knows she’s a beauty pageant and someone called her miss korea.

Ok guys, there’s a leak of Heesun’s background from LinkedIn and her interviews in her past tv show, she’s studying in the US and she grew up abroad. So I wonder if she heard all the shit talking between Mina Sue & Sung Hun that night when they’re talking in English and understood all of it.

In the trailer, there’s a scene of her crying with grey shirt & Subeen’s jacket, the outfit kinda similar with that night. Subeen asked to talk to her and they went to the make up room. To me, she looked a bit sick and just got off crying because her undereyes were a bit puffy & dark that time and she’s holding tissue at first when talking to Subeen. I guess only then she got a hold of herself and trying to feel better. If there’s no scene of her crying in the upcoming eps, it could be that night, either she cried because she heard all of it or she felt anxious and stressed with the whole situation just like how Mina Sue got sick and nauseous on that same night. This is just my guess so far.

Sung Min with the girl in pyjama clicking mirror picture is with Min Gee. It’s their first day paradise. They put it on trailer but on the episode. (1) The girl looks a lot like Min Gee (2) He mentioned to Go Eun that he took the same photo from the mirror on his first day

I’ll not be surprised if next episode she’ll be like I’m interested in I Geon, Jae Jin or Hyun Jae 😂😂

Yup because producer is too focused on making it dramatic and entertaining that’s why they will pick a main character and feel that the footage from other contestants may not be worthy to be used in the actual episode. 🤷🏻‍♀️ They thought that by giving some screen time to other lovelines like Go Eun and Joo Young is enough as “corrected” the mistake from S4.

We all know that the contestants here are not really looking for love, but more for fame, so that’s why models, beauty pageant, influencers and actors may get more advantage to be part of this show rather than random people on the streets with jobs that are not within entertainment industry. I think Netflix is staying true with their claims that it’s not scripted, BUT I think that there must be storyline or concept that the producers are going for each season so they will shape the interviews & games and edit the footage to fit into the concept that they’re aiming for to make the show entertaining and more dramatic. When there is no actual script, contestants either bring their A-game during the conversation to stay relevant in the show or their conversation will be bland and boring and got cut out and didn’t make it into the show. Which is why in last season, though people were bored of SiAn, but probably because there’s no ‘dramatic’ conversation between other girls and the guys, they didn’t make it to the final cut. We can see in this season, Ye Jin is disappearing because she couldn’t carry the conversation well with the guys and probably there’s nothing worthy or dramatic enough on conversation between Hee Sun and Igeon, so it got cut out just like that.

Regarding the female contestants among beauty pageants ‘pretending’ not to know each other, I don’t think that they’re pretending, but there’s a rule in Inferno that they couldn’t reveal their job and age, so they can’t be saying to others “we know each other from beauty pageants” 😅 In previous season, Si Eun admitted that she knows the other contestant (I can’t remember which one) because her sisters are friends. Maybe they did interact in the room acknowledging each other but it just didn’t make it to us viewers. And just because they’re in the beauty pageant, it doesn’t mean that they’re friends irl before the show so it could be that they just know each other’s existence or they encountered only during the contest.

In this season, Go Eun straight away told I Geon that she knows him during the first meet and then I Geon replied something like no introduction needed then. So from there we know they don’t have to pretend that they didn’t know each other.

This is my take on Netflix’s claim that there is no “script”, yes, there’s no literal script line by line like drama, but they definitely shape the narrative and storyline to keep the show entertaining.

And they give screentime to Mina & Sung Hun for having the same conversation over and over again. Like stop shoving her to our face, we don’t want it

Strong on “she only sets her mind on a guy eho has a girl behind them” because all of sudden Sung Min & Hyeon Woo are not on her list anymore when they clearly set boundaries with her. Since Seung Il is not, she’s happy about it and dancing infront of Minji. I actually do want to see Seung Il and Mina go to paradise together so that Seung Il can make up his mind.

My theory: Mina Sue will match with Sung Hun in the next episode and it will cause a big stir to their relationship. They might be endgame too because the screentime of both them having almost the same conversation every night is suspicious. I’m getting tired of both of them but it might be a hint because if nothing is going on between them and just friends, they could just cut it because those scenes are kinda useless. They might be the couple from the trailer who sleeps together in one bed.

Hee Sun & Su Been probably will go to paradise based on promo trailer. There’s a couple in a swimming pool and the guy looks like Subeen and the girl has a long hair wearing white swimwear whom could probably be Hee Sun. Let’s see.

I love how this season we have a lot of cross-overs and not just 4-5 participants chasing one person only.

But I kinda feel bad for Ye Jin and Hee Sun. I guess Ye Jin is just not that interested with any of the guys there and maybe none of them are her ideal type. Since she’s older and mature, she might be looking for something more serious and probably pickier to fit with her type. And Hee Sun…girl, she’s too focus on one guy. But at least she gets the hint and knows to back off a little bit.

Go Eun has 3 guys around her but I don’t feel annoyed about it because those guys are pursuing her and so far she’s not seen being indecisive because she doesn’t really openly share her feelings unlike Mina Sue going back and forth with her ranking. Go Eun carried the conversation well with all the guys to me and she’s being balanced and not leading on them one second and then changed her mind another second. I think it’s the same for Joo Yoong with Jae Jin & Hyun Jae. She probably likes Jae Jin slightly more though she said they’re equal but I guess she’s still curious about Hyun Jae and their conversation about being raised up with love and treat parents well is quite deep.

Yes she’s not wrong to find a match and try others, but what she did was rude. She’s not a girl’s girl. Rolling eyes to other girls just because she expressed her feelings is just not it. Yes it’s a dating show and she can express her feelings towards Seung Il, just like Hee Sun is still trying with Su Been and Hyun Jae with Joo Yoong though they clearly know that the other person has a thing with others, BUT what she did is different, she clearly knew she had the american boy and su been around her, and she’s interested in Seung Il and still keeping Sung Min around too as back up, just in case, so she played around. The preview is not helpful when Su Been asked to talk to her first she said yes and then Seung Il asked and she directly ditched Su Been for Seung Il? It’s common courtesy and manners to at least talk to the person who asked you first and she already said yes to him first.

I don’t watch reality tv show for people like her. In S2, we didn’t have anyone too selfish like her, at least Seul Gi was bearable and real though I don’t get the hype, but it’s still one of the best seasons.

So only one new episode today and it’s express 🙃

Yess and the fact that she’s little sulking in the morning saying she understands that ML meant what he said (that he hates her for 3rd option)

I was hoping for her to still able listen to his “hate” confession and song dedication after all his tricks to avoid her from listening to radio. I thought it’d be fun for him to get caught and explain it to her. Oh well 🙃
