Ep 19 emoji is ring on the calendar schedule. I was confused before this because I thought it’s marriage proposal but the timeline didn’t feel right. It turns out he gives her a ring from the game. 😆😆
The FL going on a killing spree and the Qin Xiao Yi #2 being her innocent victim was too funny. The poor guy didn't…
Yesss I was laughing like crazy but Li Yue didn’t give up and just keeps on playing, lol.
At first I was like where did she got the money for all the rounds she played then it explained. I was worried for a second that my girl is blowing up her savings again.
I literally spent less than five minutes researching all the production companies, and guess what? They’re all…
Because of your comment, I also searched about this drama.
Production: 1. Studio Sot - established by Hong sisters (the screenwriters) 2. Trii Studio, labeled under Imaginus, which is led by the former CEO of Studio Dragon. 3. Studio Hi, a subsidiary of Hive Media Corp.
All production companies are korean, korean directors, korean producers and korean writers.
Hong sisters are well-known korean writers in the industry. Not all of their dramas are great, but they had multiple hits.
I also noticed that in episode when fl forced entry into the game location without wearing vr goggles and turn…
It’s implied in the first episode they’re all wearing VR goggles in the game, but players can still other players’ face from the VR. Only us, viewers didn’t see it as we’re seeing the ingame version without the goggles. I think the reason why they could detect she’s an outsider is because she didn’t have the VR goggles.
I’ll just assume they took off the VR goggles already since the game has ended because it’d be weird to imagine and ML did wipe off her tears during the kiss.
Thanks @kyra saw your comments and chose English not English CC. May have to re-watch it again some day
I changed to English from English CC. Yes, it’s slightly better but there is little mistranslation, but not as bad as English CC. I don’t understand why Netflix put English CC as default 😭
Finished watching this drama and I would say it’s a decent watch. Yes, the promo is misleading making people thinking this is a romcom drama when there’s a heavy stuff on mental illness, but if you’re watching this without much of expectation, it’s actually a good drama. I think this drama works because of the great chemistry between main leads. I find myself hooked and continue watching because I wanna know how they would resolve the conflicts and the ending. The drama wrapped up pretty nice.
Is it the best kdrama of 2026? Nope. Does it meet the expectation and the hype? I guess not. Is it worth it to watch? Probably. Is it entertaining and does it have a good storyline? I would say yes.
In short, it’s not the best but it’s not that bad like how some people portray it.
Netlix releasing many or all episodes all at once kills Korean-produced dramasKorean-produced Kdramas live off…
While I agree that all these platforms change the kdramas landscape and we’re losing the essence of korean culture and old kdramas vibe, but to say it kills advertising is quite a stretch because Korean entertainment is heavy on PPL rather than TV commercial breaks. Let’s be honest, majority of people are no longer watch dramas, series or shows on TV anymore, we like flexibility that we can watch the show at our convenience rather than sticking to TV broadcast schedule.
Ho Jin can be really frustrating like I get that he feels like Mu Hee keeps pushing him away, but he never actually makes her feel secure and never tells her that he likes her. That’s why she always doubting herself and thinking she’s not worthy of love. With her childhood trauma and her mental illness, it’s not helping her situation at all. As interpreter, he always interprets her intention and her actions differently. Gosh the level of miscommunication is just crazy.I also don’t like how they did Hiro-san character dirty, like he’s kinda a victim of Do Ra Mi. I feel bad for him to be confused with the whole situation.
Netflix subtitles pissed me off so bad. As simple as Hanguk means Korean language, they translate it as ‘English’. During the interview with Singaporean magazine, the interviewer speaks in English, the subtitle shows *translate Mandarin* Wtf There are so many mistranslation, and it’s getting tiring with Netflix original kdrama. I’m not fluent in Korean, but I understand Korean as I’m learning the language. I got so confused with the English subtitles. It’s worse when they had the argument in Canada before going back to Seoul, like if you rely on the subtitles alone, viewers would feel so lost on what made it so heated.
Can This Love Be Translated? More like can Netflix translate kdrama properly? 🙄
I didn’t expect this drama to be heavy 😭 I thought it’d be cute romcom with travel theme, but it’s kinda messed up. I cried for FL because she really needs help.
