Once XY said that only two types of person can get her, 1st who is everything and 2nd who is nothing. Somewhat,…
Your comment reminds me of something I think I wrote last year about some men having nothing but being everything, while others had everything but were nothing. Nothing in terms of a sense of self, of fighting at the very least for his own worth and refusing to be abused by others, even if those others were family members. Extreme goodness without a sense of justice means nothing.
And it's so ironic when his fans say he sacrificed so much, placing her as his first and only goal. He sacrificed nothing. He had everything taken away from him and even so, he never wanted any of that in the first place. It's so easy to sacrifice stuff you never really cared about anyway. So the problem is not even being flawed, because they're all flawed in one way or the other. The problem is this being touted as a "happy ending" by some, when the only happy thing about this story is that Xiang Liu was spared having to keep dealing with these broken, selfish people.
Good observation that so many seem to overlook in the end. So much for breaking the cycle of trauma caused by abandonment when a little kid was also abandoned by the only father figure he has known. One known for being the paragon of kindness. But hey, happy ending eh?
I partly agree and partly disagree. In the novel, TSJ would have floated in the ocean unconscious, just as he did…
AH, you're such a lovely person so it's understandable you would be willing to educate this sotreeD individual with your excerpts, but word of advice, it really isn't worth your time.
The moment this person states stuff like "The drama team wanted the audience to understand when a woman say its friendship, its friendship" [sic] even though this same person claims to have read the novel, it's when you can see it's like talking to a door.
"Also why complain about the friendship line being toned down?" Poisonous Friendship Bugs, amirite?

I see Peng Peng here in this thread lurking and replying āš¤£š¤£š¤£ who caresā to your comment while simultaneously having blocked you and me. So hilarious that she might have forgotten about it but even so cared enough to type a juvenile comment. Itād be funnier if it werenāt so lame.
It would appear this statement prompted a flurry of activity for TJC fans themselves, sending warnings to each…
Are you not tired yet? Whatās that about Tan fans? Removing what now? Retaliatory action for what reason? How do you even know what goes on with a fandom you clearly do not belong to?
I think youāre confusing us with some other folks, who live on putting people down because Tan is outshining them too much, much more than it was expected. Who has the time to go to other actorsā accounts to post anything negative when weāre so busy enjoying everything Tan has to offer us daily? My gosh do you even believe what you write? It has nothing to do with unfiltered photos and you know it. Stop lying. Itās unbecoming and it can lead to legal issues as you can clearly see.
āThose typical few fans even trying to bring the weibo drama over here to intimidate i fans are such a joke...ā [sic]: you mean like youāve been doing since you set foot here on MDL? I swear I donāt get what goes on with you but I confess that sometimes it gets me intrigued.
Anyhoo, are you feeling intimidated after so much inaccurate āinformationā has been shared here, without regard for the consequences? I would be.

Iām having too much of a good month lately to argue with you. Yeah yeah, your fox is great woohoo what a man! Congratulations to you for being on the J-Team. Go Foxes!
Not a single thing you write can seriously ruin my mood, so yeah whatever you say, I hope it makes you feel happy.
Oh, btw, Xiang Liu lost nothing. Heās the one who won the most in terms of character development, audience preferences and overall popularity among book lovers and drama watchers. Even in the story, he finally found his peace, something that not all characters managed to achieve. Even that āhappy endingā is debatable. But you wouldnāt understand it just how you have no understanding of anything related to Xiang Liu. āPlay the gameā, āstarted on the wrong footā hahahahaha
Oh well, āget over it alreadyā you say? How about you try to practice that in front of a mirror? It will do wonders for you. Bye now! Have a great weekend :)
I'm glad they are doing this, not just for him, but for Dai Lu Wa, who got dragged into the mess.
Did they drag her as well??? This is news to me. Well, she did have a lot of character growth during the second season, so I guess this is unacceptable for some folks š¹

We were joking around about Xiang Liu's Legal Department, but I never thought the day would come where he would really need legal assistance. Oh well. Hope this silences those individuals once and for all.

Guess there's a real consequence for excessive nonsense being spouted online. Should we send them the gems we find here on MDL as well? International blabbering should also be added to their body of evidence :)
This story is so painful to watch. Well executed on so many levels. That said, one of the core pieces of the story,…
Hey Una! Glad to see you back!! I remember we discussed some things about Chenrong being an invaded country only trying to resist till their last breath.
So it's very hard to root for these privileged, colonialist invaders. Their trauma actually meant nothing. Xiang Liu was the only one who deserved to have people rooting for him anyway, but thankfully, that's what mostly happened by the end :)
What about the ratings for "Lost you forever" ? Do you think, it could leave room for a sequel?
It would be interesting to see some adventures of Xiang Liu and Maoqiu after some centuries have passed and maybe an Easter Egg where they show Xiao Yao as a widow or something, but no reunion with XL because he needs a proper FL. Maybe a warrior like him.
Upon reading that xiang liu will die..i no more have the energy to watch this drama..actually from scratch everyone…
Jing isn't fit to be the main anything. Only people who have no understanding of screenwriting and basic storytelling can claim he's the main love interest or that he is a character that can stand on his own. He can't because he wasn't written to be the main anything.
You take Xiang Liu out of the equation and the whole thing falls apart because there's no structure to sustain it. Only Cang Xuan's arc could be enough to make this story somewhat consistent but even that was sabotaged. So yeah, the energy to watch this drama was also lost forever.
The drama is marketed like its a reverse harem but actually there is only one consistent love line from start…
"Lets just say there is one clear love line and one invisible loveline some people insist is there haha"
By some people, I suppose you are referring to Tong Hua as well. She's the one who used the "snake in the grass" writing technique, but having read the novel I'm sure you are aware of that.
Actually, never mind. You say you read the novel but you still claim stuff like that. Why do I even bother? Peace out.
