Stop losing sleep over whether this is a period drama, a space opera, a survival show, a reality dating show, a Tarantino movie, a Mexican novela, or whatever the hell Tan Jianci has been hired to star in. Unlike some unemployed folks, he has been doing multiple things quite literally at the same time.

Well, I haven’t finished this one yet to be able to rate it in its entirety, and the kdrama is the blueprint which makes the cdrama’s existence possible in the first place. But I think it will be difficult to have a winner because they’re both great for different reasons. I love the original and now I’m sure I’ll also love the remake. For me, it’s about the story. Like a favorite book translated to multiple languages.

These individuals are known to be in perpetual hate mode, so block them, report them or do whatever you feel like is necessary to keep MDL peaceful as per their guidelines. Not that MDL ratings can be taken too seriously but I sincerely hope that the lower score this season has is due to some glitch in the platform or the usual haters rating unaired episodes (not sure how that works but okay), and not due to the usual “is there romance?” crowd downvoting every drama that doesn’t focus on romance. It seems this one won’t be too different “romance” wise compared to the other two seasons.
Please for the “love” of everything that is sacred, respect the audiences who enjoy other types of dramas that do not have romance shoved in it for whatever reason. There’s a myriad of kdramas with romance aplenty. Go back to your Lovely Runners and your Crash Landing on Yous and leave some of us with the few action-oriented dramas we enjoy. Please 🙏🏻
