This isn't good nor bad. Watchable if I may say. Got me raised my eyebrows towards the end because why would a twist happen 3 eps from ending? Overall, watchable. There are characters that I love and characters that I don't know why are they even there lol. Storyline is ok
However, I must regret to inform you that there is no WuXia dramas that are very similar to The Blood of Youth

This is so amazing! Glad I've watched it. I was kinda skeptical trying it at first after watching TTEOM and TSL since this has a different type of plot but I came to love the story, the comedic lines and importantly, the cast.
Anyone who has recommendations like this? I saw someone said Listening Snow Tower but I tried it since yesterday and it still can't make me interested 😅 I tried Wulin Heroes too but I can't seem to get into the plot
This got my attention bc it seems interesting so i watched it bc i can't yet get over TTEOM. And now i can't get over this drama!!! I smiled, laughed and cry in this drama. The acting were mostly amazing and the story is good
I didn't know this drama is not yet fully released. I just saw everyone hyping it so I got curious. It's so annoying they made it into 2 parts. I even felt lazy watching the glory bc of the same reason since it's not like the season 2 was a new plot/additional story but is just like a next episode.
Anyway, I want to believe Lieutenant Lee is still alive :( AND they cut it in a part where it wasn't shown that he completely died. So one illogical way is when the spheres attack him that was also the time of the explosion. Remember, his place is not really inside inside the building but rather somewhere that has access outside. Maybe, he and the spheres flown from the impact so he could still be alive if illogically, he survived the impact of the explosion (there seems to be no bomb in the room where he is too)
Tbh, I do not like dramas with big age gap. I just started watching it for the leads and because it is a slice of life type of drama. The story is so relatable especially for someone who is also in late 20s. The things expected of a woman in the working industry still happens in today's time. Plus the romance and bits of comedy is nice
I really couldn't care less who takes the lead. Lots of arguments are based on shippers of this drama. But all I want is for the story arcs not leaving the whole story. If there will be no JSM in this, what's gonna happen with the Bu Yeon story? Are we supposed to forget that she is a powerful priestess and that she cohabits with Naksu inside her own body? While Naksu's body was burnt? How is GYJ supposed to return? Okay let's just say they didn't show the face of the body burnt but everything is confusing from what was left of S1 to S2 expectations. I just hope all questions will be answered soon when this drama gets released.

This is what I thought too at first but I'd like to think she acts like this bc her personality is supposed to be bubbly and playful plus she's 1500 years old as compare to those ten or hundred thousand years old immortals. She's a bit smart anyway so it's good and she will improve later on

Hmm if it was gonna be an explanation then it is not sequel but a prequel of events that happened before. But they said it is a sequel means continuation of the story. With you also saying this, makes me think the writers never cared for the Bu Yeon storyline maybe that's the reason Naksu was able to be controlled so easily with a bell when a great priestess soul was also inside with her. Not saying the drama was bad, just the ending.
Ending is disappointing. Everything felt rushed, sudden plotholes happened on the last episode just for S2 Naksu can continue when Bu Yeon story isn't resolved yet. I don't care about shipping, what I care is the plot how are they gonna insert an actress when her character was burnt if the S2 is a sequel
I don't know what to feel for this drama's ending. It is such a good drama, there was good build up although it took really long to build up Uk's training to gain power only for it to be gone in less than a minute. Episode 19 felt so rushed. Jang Gang came back only to die and it felt like where's the importance of his character. Another one from ep 20, they kept on saying Bu Yeon is such a powerful priestess, she was able to wake up on times when her body and Naksu's life might be in danger but suddenly she and Naksu was controlled easily with that bell? She also let her body turned into stone for running wild? What happened to a great priestess?
How about S2? With the Naksu actress coming back as they said even tho her body was burnt (even Master Lee wasn't able to return to his body after it was burnt), how are they gonna include her to the plot when Buyeon storyline wasn't even resolved yet? I am not shipping anyone but it's just so weird that JSM won't be part of the S2.
