Ok great face but not my taste.
Before you could attack me. I am fan of Both actor. Their gorgeous face are complimenting each other. But i wish they could get more tragic drama with Bad Ending. I tried to watch since i have expectation of angst feeling but the scene was too draggy. ML backstory is well written but i couldn't stan FL character. Their chemistry is okay the kiss was fine but not make me fluttering. The duration of drama make me sleep and too lazy to done the drama. Dropped.Was this review helpful to you?
Yang Jie needs to improve her acting
Ok this is another Zhao Zhendong with wheelchair pretends to be disabled plot.Basically the plot is really same and they tried to get this drama into comedy. Yang Jie is super stiff and her chemisty with Li Boyi is non exist. The force comedic feels so stage and fake. I cannot continue to watch this. Dropped.

Waste for stellar casts
The costume and the make up done for the mermaids and mermen are too beautiful for the budget of short drama The Plot are quite too distracted for main purpose about search FL real identity and they kind a lose focused on 4 MLs but focused on FL brother instead (he was FL RL ex bf so maybe its their last encounter) if they want to get fairly focused on ML they should lessen the ML maybe (2-3 ML). Such a waste.
Okay this is another Wang Nan drama i couldn't watch because of Female lead, i couldn't watch Zhu Xiao Xue stiff acting. and same expression. Wang Nan acting as dual role was really good to watch: the cunning twin brother Ji Yu and the upright and charismatic younger brother Ji Muye. The plot was quite generic though. I thought the twin setting would create some interesting chemistry, but then the older brother just disappeared while the story was unfolding. FL was supposed to be interesting person since she initiated the revenge plan to control the twin but all i see just her same expression and monotone speaking. Kan Ziyi was miscast in this drama.
I watched this last year because of Liang Siwei and i dont like this drama.The plot was alright, but Kan Ziyi was a miscast she looks to mature to be 19. The tug-of-war between them wasn't really there. He's always showing off his abs in dramas (I just remember from most drama starred Liang Siwei , there is the first scene Liang Siwei throw his clothes topless and kissing the FL lmao). FL's character is not very likable. She is pretentious and wants everything. I tried to tolerate but i cannot force myself to done this drama. Dropped.

Common trash plot.
Despite my love for Zhao Zhendong, i cant finish this drama since i don't like Dong Zi Yuan on this drama she is miscast on this drama and no chemistry between the lead. The male lead character is trash. The children didn't help it too. The plot was too common and i suggest you to watch other drama instead.Was this review helpful to you?
Female Lead attitude make me dropped this drama fast than light.
I like the theme of this drama and used to watch J-drama with same theme (I love Satomi Ishihara's Unnatural) , but unfortunately, I really can't accept the FL's character. FL laughs indiscriminately when in forensic room. She laughs even when the forensic doctor is examining an autopsy at a crime scene, and she even shakes hands with him. So rude!FL is supposed to be a gentle police officer, while the ML, is a forensic doctor, yet the police officer's fighting skills feels like she paid the school to get herself enrolled. Unbearable to watch. Dropped.

Wang Yilei solely good acting cannot save this drama.
I remember when i watched other version the plot was so-so but the acting was so adequate to make me engaging on that drama. This drama ruined my view experience. Even my friends saying this version was the best, i completely never agree with her. The production of this drama feel sloppy.I wont say Wang Yilei acting cannot acting (but Yang Shuyu stills has no improvement and it was making this experience more worse) but the ML looks misfit as someone older, FL didn't look too mentally strong and somehow they are miscast on the adaptation. It feels he works alone in full of group assignment. but the result still got F-.

Non-sense drama
I watched this last year and decide to discontinue this drama and reminisce my memory and re-check my decision and turn out i was right back then.Plot is generic formula in Chinese short drama and getting more ridiculous SFL change the jade pendant with a watch doesn't make it better.
It was uncomfortable to see child abuse and lack of chemistry between Zhang Yuntao and Liu Xiyu make me dropped this drama fast.

Xu Siqi is miscast and this CP didn't match the plot.
I watch Zeng Hui and Han Yutong version and felt so satisfying to rewatch. I give try to Huang Bo and Xu Siqi version and...God I cannot watch this Xu Siqi lacks femme fatale aura and her way of delivering as Lin Yue is too weak. She was miscast. Quite promising body swap plot but ...
Ok I watch it in last year when i was new into Chinese short drama and didn't know their names. The plot is actually quite good and promising and I like Wang Nan comedic banter even when he is on feminine mode. Zuo Yi was actually good on her role as bad actress but somehow i don't enjoy her vibe make me want to stop watch. I tried to fasten and skimming the drama but maybe my intuition wont make me want to watch this drama. Dropped.Was this review helpful to you?
Never get the hype.
I know people enjoy this since its Kechun drama but actually i tried to watch it and end up dropping this. I love revenge plot and there the iconic moment when Yuyin was being carried by Kechun, I've seen it many times. There is may remake on this adaptation and i prefer the other one compare to this. Plot are quite mess and inconsistent and Yuyin is not great on this drama for me despite its being her most popular drama on this year. Unorganized plot with zero chemistry
Just watch it for Lily Zai sake, i don't familiar with Chu Zi Jun acting. The Plot is about secret marriage (i am sucker for the plot) but i was just too dissapointed. No chemistry between them. Male Lead are too stiff for my liking. There is too much plot hole and too many inconsistent plot. I'm just fast forward and lose interest since plot is not going anywhere. half-baked drama
This drama have inconsistent theme. They are too afraid to explore LGBTIA++ theme since it's quite rare case on Chinese vertical short drama but the bromance or friendship or what ever that terms called for the Main Leads. The chemistry for the lowest term of friendship is zero even both are handsome man. The plot is not engaging, too boring and lack of dynamic duo. DroppedWas this review helpful to you?
Ye Haoran make the character look same as his other dramas
I want to watch this and expected another Ye Haoran without his younger brother persona. But he looks like spoiled children instead of mafia. The supporting role acting is quite old-style and still stiff. Female Lead didn't have any charm and her characterization is too weak compare to other same adaption.
