This drama is perfect example they live in their 2023 mind. Agonizing love when FL wasted their precious time to someone useless.

FL is miserable from beginning to end. "Gentle yet resilient" = weak but incredibly hardworking, her resilience is all used for enduring hardship. ML really has a white moonlight (ideal love), and he only has a whirlwind marriage with the FL because he thinks she looks like his white moonlight. He says he doesn't love SFL anymore, but his actions contradict his words. Between his white moonlight and FL, ML always chooses the white moonlight Classic favor outsourcing: the male lead owes his white moonlight a favor, outsourcing it to the FL to force her to back down.

Not watching it was the right decision. i made the wrong decision. You need to do another thing beside watching this.

Quite significant change from other version

I watched this drama because of Peng Yao and glad they make this version undergone significant changes. The dialogue is humorous, and the entire cast feels real. It can be viewed as a brand new drama. The interaction between the four characters—brother and sister, older sister and younger brother—is strong, not just between individual couples or siblings.

This version also has stronger chemistry between the older brother and younger sisters. Actually the younger brother and older sister were quite weak in this drama but it doesn't make them. These kisses are more leaned into pure and innocent, with some explicit content but no explicit scenes.

The mother, who has maintained a quiet and elegant facade for thirty years, finally gains confidence after the sisters enter the family and decides to stop being mistreated. Together with the sisters, all three couples divorce on the same day. The mother is genuinely divorced, the younger sister is faking it, and the older sister is genuinely divorced, but the younger brother thinks it's fake because the older sister saw that the younger brother only wanted to have fun.

The sisters are adopted, but their parents treat them well and leave their inheritance to them, but other relatives covet it. The fake divorce was just to get the older brother to help them get the real will. The ending is quite innovative. the four of them hold a second wedding, with the younger brother dressed as a woman and the older sister as a man. None of them can hold their liquor, and the mother has to help them move back to their room, almost repeating the mistake of going into the wrong bridal chamber at the beginning.

Plot wise is worth to watch.

Another generic plot with okay ending

I watched this last year because of advertisement. The plot is indeed generic trop, ML and FL were spouse with her son but SFL comes to ML and badmouthing FL, FL tolerated him 3 times and told her son if ML never prioritize them. They will leave her dad yadda-yadda. She resigned from ML company and started new life. ML realized FL and her son are gone and pretend to be good person. In the end her own son called ML uncle since he never cared about him. ML and his hypocrisy are so annoying to watch. Both leads acting are okay but not making them engraved. I enjoy this but i don't want to rewatch anymore.

Good Make-out scene with garbage plot

I watched this last year and i found it ridiculous about Wu Yuhang character in here. My reason to watched this because of Zhang Shan and i guaranteed her kissing scene is good but the plot is make me the scriptwriter really loves ML character and have sadistic circumstances to FL character. If you like kissing scenes, you can check it drama , there are quite a few kisses, although it doesn't feel like there's much sparks in this.

This drama makes me feel like ML is the darling of the gods. He puts a love tribulation on FL, forcing her to fulfill his dream. FL's sister calls him "brother-in-law" whenever she sees him. FL isn't very willing, but she has to marry him to save her life. The ML's character isn't even as good as the SML. SML went abroad for five years to fight for power for the original owner of the body, and after returning, he fights and grabs her while still respecting her.

The only two redeeming qualities of this drama are the high attractiveness of the entire cast and the numerous intimate scenes that are quite sensual. The plot is trash. The patriarch couldn't even protect his own sister, let alone give her a good life. FL was practically dead. It's ridiculous that he was saved later, but it still feels absurd. Moreover, there's a lot of verbal sparring, and I really can't stand the scenes where the FL is mocked and then slapped in the face. In the end, FL confesses that she loved the ML a thousand years ago, but she lied about cultivating immortality to avoid hurting him due to health reasons. However, it wasn't clear from the beginning that FL loved the ML that much; it felt like a prelude to her later decision to give up her chance at immortality. But in the end, the female lead wanted to cultivate immortality, so she deliberately disappeared for a year, making it impossible for the ML to contact her, and even arranged various women for him.

If you are plot-driven person, avoid this drama. Don't become like me!

AnotherK-drama " When the Phone Call" from shein

I mainly watch this to see Liu Xiaoxu's acting and this is another when the phone calls from Shein. I don't like Cheng Zi portrayal of FL since she was not believable when she pretends to be mute. In some scenes, she clearly couldn't keep up with her co-star and there is no chemistry between them.

Indeed, many details of this version's plot are more logically reasonable, and the causes and consequences are finally clear. The characters' motivations are very consistent with the settings, the transitions are smooth, and the bugs in the original Korean drama can be completely ignored.

The plot is more dramatic and complex, with very strong dramatic conflicts. At the same time, the melodrama factor has also skyrocketed. Why they minimize the previous three wives.

I watched this drama since this is sequel from the male-oriented drama. The typical male oriented always got some not good looking ML while he surrounded by the beauties.

The plot is still same like previous season ML transmigrates to ancient times and is bound to a favorability system. He already wins over three beautiful wives, but unexpectedly, an S-level favorability target, the leader of the Nangong Cult, appears. The conflict was less interesting than first season since it focusing on the leader making the three wives feel like wallflower.

The acting for the actors are somewhat amateurish. But the plot is solid, it's incredibly funny, and some actors deliver very convincing performances. I watched other adaptation and somehow they feel to flat but this drama still appeals to make interesting characters. A good work isn't solely achieved through expensive special effects, lavish sets, and props. Some say, "The core of a good drama is a good script and a good director" and i agree with this.

Recommended to watch if you fine with not good looking ML with the beauties FLs.

Light drama for killing time.

I watched this drama because of Song Yujia and never excpected Du Yafei character to be non scumbag ML.
It's a lighthearted, clichéd sweet drama, okay for casual viewing.

To put it more simple, ML is the FL's high school classmate who has had a crush on her for many years. He meets her at a bar and throws himself at her. To get on the romance show, FL marries the ML. The love-brained male lead shows off their love in various ways and uses his resources to suppress and bully SFL. ML 's assistant is praised by FL, and ML gets jealous because he keeps watching the ML assistant secretly taking pictures of him (wanting to report to the male lead's mother). FL misunderstands that ML assistant likes ML..

Although FL doesn't suffer any losses, she's quite yapper. I really hate the lower eyeliner the female lead wear it was quite messy. Recommended to killing your time.

The fast paced and decent reborn drama

I watched this because of Tik Tok advertisement and it was decent drama even there is less romance in this drama.

I never expected Cheng Cheng can be so youthful. Cheng Cheng and Ma Le Jie have great chemistry FL's appearance as a basketball cheerleader was stunning! Their interactions are quite sweet, but there aren't many scenes featuring them. The humiliation scenes are smooth, without any major mishaps.

The script is clichéd. FL mistakes the person who comforted her, leading her to chase after a scumbag. After her rebirth, she turns back, only to discover in the last few episodes that it was her childhood sweetheart who comforted her. There's also a lot of verbal sparring from the SFL, FL hiding her wealthy identity, the female supporting character getting humiliated at a wealthy family's house, etc. In this version rather than focusing on reborn, it more focusing on ML secret crush to FL.

I watched the same version but personally it was the most decent chemistry. Recommended to Watch.

FL was burden to everyone

I'm a die-hard fan of this combo and so far this is my least favorite from Ma Xiao Yu and Jin Zi both leads are delivers their respective role, the plot rushed at the beginning, and the pacing was off. Since this is republican drama, 9 of 10 always have bad ending and this drama included in majority of common republican drama.

SML is also very conflicted, his love is full of contradictions, and he keeps sending FL to her death. In the end, everyone helps the FL escape abroad with the intelligence. FL, from beginning to end, treats good people as bad people, constantly killing the ML, conflicted about whether she loves him, and then she leaves.

After watching it, there was hardly any plot, just a lot of chanting slogans, using one lamp to spread the word. None of the characters, good or bad, accomplished anything. Wait, SML killed the FL's parents. In the finale, he suddenly realized his mistake and died with them.

The script has a high theme about patriotism but a poor plot and the production lacks to make this plot conjoined with the premises. ML is restrained and patient, which is very engaging! FL is weak, constantly mindlessly killing ML. FL's sister is well-acted, very lifelike and intelligent. The whole plot can be summarized in one sentence: Everyone risks their lives to send the FL abroad. I felt like I watched nothing and the ending was no better. A drama with good acting, very patriotic, but also very empty.

Why the leads screentime was limited than supporting cast?

I thought "Breaking the Cocoon Prologue" was the first season, but it turns out it's the sequel! I was so disappointed! But it doesn't affect the visuals much; the leads from other dramas are all incredibly good-looking. I didn't expect the first season to have so many plot twists! Watching the good parts in order should be even better, no wonder I didn't understand some of the plot in the second chapter.

After understand this drama, FL 's revenge is pointless; she doesn't save her son; she doesn't change the hosts' fates; she's reborn into nothingness. The kissing scenes between Wang Yilei and Zhao Xixi are absolutely mesmerizing but i feel they could develop more romance subplot since the leads screentime was quite limited due supporting casts.

I watched this since i love Zhao Xixi but personally i wont recommend this drama since it was complicated.

It was innovative plot when i first watching this

I watched this on my first year on watching short drama i quite remember Fang Zhen Nan face and his role was quite jerk one especially the scene he didn't acknowledge his daughter was truly the first time I'd ever from anger from him. Even after i watch short drama since two years this is Xu Siqi best work. I never get attached to her recent work.

The plot about FL who pretends to be mute to save ML from his accident complication but he got mistress and her child. Mentally abuse FL and her daughter and keep saying Mistress son was his. I liked the FL daughter acting, her anger from ML was justified and it was normal reaction even her mom didn't say anything bad about his father. FL was actually singer that ML adored, she retired to be with him and yeah his mistress stole all of FL works. Too bad the songs was actually not from the actress herself and it basically lipsync from other singer.

I'm not entirely satisfied with the fact that FL didn't have an abortion. Unless she can't get pregnant again after an abortion, I really don't understand why she would carry his child after deciding to break up with ML.

Stereotype drama

I watched the drama started Charon and Meng Lu and this is the one of their weakest drama

This is a copy of the plot from the K Drama What Happened to Secretary Kim (I cannot finished this drama but for Hwang Bora i finished them) with some low-brow jokes pieced together at the first but halfway through, it became very dramatic, using some predictable clichés to attract the audience, creating some necessary, easily manipulated, and foolish characters, and finally ending with a clichéd conclusion. The chemistry between Charon and Meng Lu are decent but i cannot stand Meng Lu acting in this drama it feel so flat and unresonated with Charon explosive acting. The supporting casts acting were terrible especially ML's fiancée .

Lukewarm drama.

I watched this because of Shi Xuejing but i had lukewarm feeling about this drama. It didn't memorable enough for me.

ML is an anorexic prince, very tsundere, but surprisingly resilient, he can go five days without eating and not collapse. The female lead is a chatterbox, Shi Xuejing's absolute comfort zone, like a script tailor-made for her, not much different from her previous characters.

The beginning is quite good, but the later plot revolves around the restaurant competition, resulting in a slight decline in quality. However, it's clear the director and screenwriter's handling of the romance is slightly weak. Average drama but actually the food doesn't look appetizing enough for me.

This is generic drama, lacking surprises, the actors didn't show any breakthroughs, and neither did the director. Also ,ML is just a background character.
